Full List at 11:59... but nobody reads these so someone's gonna complain they had to wait 12 mins for the whole list LOLOLOL
I did the house sitting job.. Once you do one, people recommend you to others.. I actually got rid of my apartment.. Did it for a few years.. Pet sitting also..
Nice!! That's awesome.
Poodles to Gray-hounds.. I love them all..Yes just like little kids waiting for mommy and daddy to come home.. .. A lady I sat for brought me a mini poodle for me.. Albert and I were together for 15 years.. It took me over a year to get over his passing.. To this day I have his picture on my fridge...
"To this day I have his picture on my fridge..." That's the most adorable thing I've read!
Thank you Deer..
Larry 306 do you know of an online service way to sign up for house/pet sitting while traveling?
A variety of ways to make money if travel is the main goal! Some are better for nomadic lifestyles and some are better for stationary lifestyles, but there are endless options!!! Feel free to add any suggestions so that the list can grow :)
Keep in mind that not everyone who lives in a vehicle or RV travels all of the time. A number of people still maintain 9-5 jobs so those are always an option too!
ADDITIONS provided by commenters: Uber/Lyft, Put a companies ad on your van/car/rv,
Thanks for the great tip Ahle and for sharing your journey with us! Who know how many people you had inspires :3
good tips
Great ideas!
Being a homie here... Not sure if someone should work for Uber/Lyft while living out of their car. I wouldn't want to invite strangers to my home =)
As always, cool beats!
Please check out Roadie too! It's a no-brainer for travelers...
another way to make some cash is gold panning . bling bling
Selling your craft at craft shows where they will let you camp for free for the show Fri through monday. I have been doing this for 40 years and I am an artist. It is private and you can camp there even if you don't do the shows- most don't know who is who anyway. Shows are every weekend somewhere. Good info you have, I moved from USA camping to Global style and ended up living in Madagascar --Keep on living your dream
Instructions unclear: I am now in a cargo ship heading to Hong Kong and I let complete strangers into my house after I found them on Craigslist while I was trying to sell one of my mom's old knitted blankets.
LOL video disclaimer *common sense not included in video ;)
😂😂😂😂
Oops. 😄😄😄
But do you still have both kidneys? If so then 👍
He said hong kong not mexico
dude i loooove your channel so much, because i havent thought of alternatives to living but this sounds appealing AF
Haha glad you enjoy the channel!!
Sounds like a great adventure love your videos👍
bet you wouldn't like it as much if she weren't hot
I’m so so beyond happy that I’ve stumbled upon your channel, this has been my dream for SUCH a long time and I’ve told my family, told some friends about my dream of living out of a van and everyone has shot me down or laughed in my face, told me I was crazy. I thought it wasn’t possible and that no one really lives like this and it would just have to remain a dream for me but seeing your channel, watching the few videos I’ve seen so far, you have sparked such a fire of hope in me. I’m also coming out of a super harsh time in my life and you just have given me a new found confidence and happiness. Really thank you so so much for your channel and sharing this lifestyle with the world, it is such an inspiration for me. I’m definitely going to start working towards this life ASAP! Stay awesome and thanks again! 😁💖✨
STAY AWESOME AHLE!!! Your videos give me life and are the reason I have been making positive changes in my life!
Hi Ahle, I've lived in my truck for the past 4 years and I love the freedom it gives me. My family and friends think I'm crazy but I don't care. I've had opportunities to buy another home or get an apartment, but I choose to live the way I do and I love being able to get up and go whenever I want. I love your channel and I like your advice. Keep up the good work and happy traveling. Be safe!
JA
Just because I didn't see anyone else put this out in the comments, truck driving can be a very good income for those who want to live on the road. The upside is you literally get paid to travel and can go anywhere, the downside is that you go where the freight goes and not necessarily where you want. That said you live on the truck, fuel and vehicle maintenance is paid for by the carrier.
wow a living on the road video that actually helps that isn't 100% based on a blog or website. Thank you👌💯
In addition to your list of jobs, there is something here in New Zealand called 'au pair' which is basically a live in nanny. You get paid a small wage with holidays and free housing. Most students come from Europe with a degree in early childhood learning or something similar to travel New Zealand while on a working holiday visa for a year.
If you're out on the road all the time, anyway, stick that gopro on your dash and record crazy drivers, then put what you catch up on youtube. I've seen loads of highly popular videos of nothing but dumb driver clips.
a couple of other ideas:
1- you can do flipping. go to yard sales and thrift stores, find quality product, and sell it. you can store inventory in a storage locker in a town you are in frequently, or you can send it along to amazon via their fulfillment warehouses. ebay, amazon, craigslist are the best places to sell, but you can sell certain types of finds (like vintage clothes) on etsy as well. there is a great reddit community if you need to learn more about this.
2- churn out novels and sell them on amazon. there are tons of tutorials on how to get your work out there. some people give them away for free and ask for reviews to get their foot in the door. if the novel is good and in a good category (erotic stuff sells well, i've heard), then you can make some good passive income that way.
3- if you have a local address you can make a small amount of money with plasma donations. they often have deals for new members or people who haven't donated in a while, whereas instead of getting $50/per, you get $75 per for a short time. it's a really helpful way to make some cash, but you have to have a street address on a bill or something, within their zone, so this might not help everyone.
Happy to see you are doing well and thriving. I enjoy your vlogs. Happy trails. ♡
Your story is by far 100% what has been on my mind for 2 years. Chemical engineering student in TN. Working as an environmental scientist currently. Time to live humbly. Thank you for your perspective. Leave the world a little better than the day before.
You go GIRL!! Love the fact that you didn't just sit around and feel sorry for yourself just because you didn't know what or who you want to be in life. You just started moving and doing. Keep it up and maybe someone out there will be inspired to take a chance and look at all the positive options life offers.
Enjoying the videos! Love seeing your perspective on things
Thanks!
She’s just so darn cute😍
his eyes so beautiful ... .

No.10's my favorite! Keep up the good work and stay green!
Love your tips btw, planning on heading out into the world one glorious day! These videos totally help!
love your channel and your way of living. gives me more reason to think that things are just objects. and life isn't about want you have its about loving and seeing and experiencing. kudos to youu continue living the dream!!
Watching this during the pandemic, and all of these were such great ideas! I think shipt is another good one, its a grocery delivery service, and if I'm not mistaken you can choose your own hours to do this! Of course you would have to be traveling in or near locations that have the service
Them: Why did you do that? You're gonna make $5 off that.
Ahle: No! I'm gonna make $1.50!
Best line.
🤦♂️ That one hurt when she said that.
Good enuf for a Costco hotdog ( for the taxes, of course)
Just stumbled upon your channel and am super inspired. Thank you for making videos. So many van lifers on here have these extravagant mini homes that cost tens of thousands of dollars to create and can make van life seem unattainable and expensive, but you are very down to earth and real and seem to have experienced just getting by with the bare minimum. Soon I will be joining this wonderful community of explorers.
I Love what your doing! My husband lived in my country (Philippines) for 4 years and we traveled all the time on a low budget. Sometimes it was frustrating, but we made it. He had a work at home job so it helped a lot. Now we have our own business on Amazon, which we created to continue our lifestyle of frequent travel, rarely having to go back to the US. So there are 2 more ways for people to make money while traveling, work at home job, and Amazon. Your video's inspire me to create my own travel vlog!
Great tips, here, Ahle. And not just for traveler/transient types, but really for anyone.
Seasonal jobs are a big deal in my community. I live in fruit growing region where we have many orchards and even some vineyards, now. Many young people make the trek here every year to pick cherries, mostly. Some apples, though, too. A person can make enough money picking fruit for a few months, to see them through a winter of traveling to Mexico, or Bali, or India, or wherever.
Ottee2 sign me up.
Why do I get the feeling that when she finishes making these videos she get out of the van and goes in her house?
Lmaooooo
Charles Porter what investigations?
@Charles Porter I've done it for a long time and have been more happy than ever. True freedom
Hahahaha 🤣🤣🤣
Hahahaha 🙄🙄🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love your videos! you're so inspirational, keep it up! It's nice to see a comment section that's so supportive
Making money with UA-cam was my biggest success as far #7 goes. This fishing channel, and a storm chasing/weather/events channel mainly. Great tips! I always enjoy your videos. Thanks for uploading them. Have a great weekend!
4th video after subscribing and totally hooked! btw you never mentioned youtube...with almost 85k subs...you're definitely well on your way making a bit of $ via youtube ;) Also, I agree, Craigslist is a great way to make extra cash selling things and one thing that makes Craiglist work even better... when you are creating your Ad... tell people that you will ONLY meet at local POLICE departments!!! Not only does this help put buyers/yourself at ease but also weeds out creepers and predators ;)
I believe YT was part of #7 :) and thanks for the police department tip, sounds like a great idea!
if you are into the wilderness, a good way to make money is selling firewood. spend a couple hours gathering wood and can make a couple hundred dollars a day if you have a trailer or truck.
oh and also gathering berries and mushrooms while out in the woods. morel mushrooms are very good and sell for quite a high price.
Where? Most woods are owned by government or private?
I don’t think Yosemite National Park would be happy with me coming in with chainsaws and baskets full of mushrooms
Exactly what we do..
@@troymoon6818 in ontario its 30 ft from the center line in both sides unless there's a fence then the old grandfather rules apply..check your town i cut on the side of the road. Farmers fields etc its legal if its town land or crown land..
I've been traveling for most of my life......and all that you talk about is helpful people who would like to do this too..........I worked housekeeping and house sitting........great fun!!! Keep living your dream.
The Top Four Reason Why I Find You To Be An Amazing Person!!
1. You make the most minute details interesting and fun!
2. You're whole voyage/series demonstrates a high level of creativity second to none!
3. Your resolve to move forward and reach self-actualization (whatever that might be for any day… LOL) motivates me to emulate your accomplishments.
4. Super ballzy of you to be a pioneer of the land where you go out of the known world and hike into the wilderness...in so many more ways than one.
I would've come up with more reasons as to why you're such an amazing person but I just started watching tonight. So far I have watched five episodes and thoroughly enjoyed each one. It's my intention to watch every episode that you put out because in the long run I hope to do exactly what you're doing: that is just going out there and living each day the best way possible-not for everyone of course but for certainly for me. So for now I am looking forward to the next episode will be living vicariously through you.
Sincerely, Rich
I''m so inspired by you. I love your videos and your excitement for life. Really looking forward to a van tour!
And I don't care. I still like the videos
"uh no.... actually I'm gonna make about $1.50..." You are so adorable!
I enjoy your channel so much. You always bring a smile to my face.
Thank you. I'm 61, on hard times. Your videos have reassured me that I can do this. wish I had been as smart as you when I was young.
Hope you are doing better!
With the right kind of vehicle, you can drive for uber. My old ford transit wagon qualified as a "4 door sedan" even though it had enough space in it to travel/ live out of.
If you're living out of something bigger that doesn't qualify for a taxi service, you can always deliver for uber eats or similar services like post mates. Its decent money, you can work whenever and wherever you want.
I should add that you need to be 19 for food delivery and 21 for taxiing with one year of driving experience for either
To my knowledge you can only drive in one location at a time for Uber. Postmates automatically transfers as you move regions, but if you go from LA to San Francisco, you won’t be able to drive in San Francisco unless you go through a transfer process that takes weeks to complete.
I watched the full ad for u
luis flores me too..... Lmao
No really I did, for her. :)
hobo ahle thanks for making these vids i went thru the exact same thing from living in my car traveling making money on the road loving to be out in the world and traveling its crazy watching your vids it takes me back to them days lol makes me want to go out into the world again .thanks!
Great list Ahle! Affiliate marketing isn't one I've heard of. The one I use to bounce around all year...Travel Nurse. Typical assignment is 3 months, you can land one in practically any city, and take off as much time in between assignments as you can afford. Work 3 months, travel 1 month, rinse and repeat.
Thank you for the inspirational videos.
You speak very well and can always maintain interest. As an experiment could you talk about something boring such as grass growing and see if you can still maintain interest.
You so are beautfil and speak so beautifully and seem like you have a beautiful personality ❤ very helpfull thank you.
It's true, she's a total gem :)
yep ! you two look alike
Hands down THE BEST van life job options I have EVER consumed. Thank you💖💎

I've seen similar info from other tubers but when you present it;s better! :)
Now i need to chase you in youtube channel quality :) Good vids, keep em coming
all about the attitude, and yours is awesomely positive.
I came here to listen to her talking.
She is a doll...
+Lia Altar My God she's pretty lol

love her accent.
Good stuff. I just go back from Nicaragua and was amazed to meet folks who are writers, authors, loan processors from wherever they happen to be visiting. WiFi is the key but even in Central America it was readily available. Hostels are $7 a night dorm room. $20 for a private room. Wow. Way different than Seattle WA.
Brilliant! I currently have been setting up things logistically to live out of my car. I just got back from a little 9 day road trip and paid for everything through busking. Busking is a great way to make quick cash if you can do it. This list is great though. I'm planning on traveling to California and will definitely be utilizing some of these options on top of my busking. I fortunately have been playing guitar and writing music for almost 20 years, but if you can't play an instrument or can't juggle, etc. It's not hard to get a cheap guitar, find a teacher and just tell him/her you want to learn 15 songs. Just learn 15 simple songs and head to wherever people can hear you. It's a rough hustle but works if you can handle all the caveats (which are many lol). But if you're living in your car or want to, I'm guessing most would be pretty industrious. Thanks for the videos! They are great and extremely enlightening.
your eyes are super hypnotizing
You are a very smart girl keep it up
I play stock options. I have just started a few months ago, but got into "options" about a month ago and have been making decent money. At least enough to live the simple way I do, and can afford to travel little bits here and there.
Good luck to you girl!
It is like a deep space voyage traveling on the earth. You are improvisational every day. Be safe thank you for your great courage.

She's friggin' ADORABLE
When you get a good offer, like a newscaster, or cable travel channel host ... cash in !! You are cool, but, don't pass up any really good opportunities, they might not always be there in the future. Good luck !!
Just an opinion. You seem to know what you are doing one way or another.

You should to do daily blogs
que bien
gracias :)
its nice to have someone who has experience doing these things share their way of doing it. its good to have more lifestyle options especially for closed minded people like me tnx..
Very helpful and smart info - thanks and smooth travels to you
You have a van and are in California? Deliver Cannabis throughout California!
Also, you are smokin'!
rmdvid I don't think it's legal there yet, I think it starts at around 2018-2019
It's super easy to get a medical recommendation, and no
risk running a few pounds around and is probably 3 or 400 bucks in a day, easy. Driving up and down the coast is pretty, like Hobo Ahle. Haha I'm in love. Anyway, just an idea ;) oh, and seasonal work in that area would be trimming. Also good pay, 15 to 20 an hour or 200 bucks per pound trimmed.
+rmdvid - That is actually a good idea.
rmdvid How does one find this kind of job?
For anyone wondering it has been legal for years good luck landing a job though you largely need to know someone to get into this business couldnt hurt to call local dispensaries though and ask if they need drivers
How do you get wifi in a car?
Park directly in front of a Starbucks.
probably using data from her phone provider.
Great list! Our list is pretty similar. In our experience #1 and #2 is the easiest and fastest way to make money. #7 is the most time consuming, and brings in the least amount of money but it can be rewarding after a million hours put into it. We are trying to learn and get into #5 and #6. Good video!
I've always enjoy your video but I'm most impressed with your astronomical rating. 20k subscribers in only 2-3 weeks. Keep it going
I came for the advice
any other travel vlogers out there?
Check out Tim, AKA the Greyhound Guru. His videos are awesome. :3
Bud The Budget Traveler if you want more vehicle dwellers check out Bob Wells cheap RV living and Jamie from enigmatic nomadics.

My husband picks up "curbside pickup" items from Craigslist or buys items that he knows are way under listed and resells them for what they are worth. Sometimes he even tinkers with them to fix them or make them nicer. It's a great way to make some extra money.
I have been an artist at Renaissance Festivals for over 25 yrs. At the major festivals (which last around 8 wkends long) throughout the US, there are often seasonal jobs to do while the festival is on. Kitchen help is almost always needed. Sometimes there is also week work. Bonus is that at many of the festivals you can camp onsite for a reasonable cost. If you are really reliable and a great worker, artists might also hire you to help run their booth. You just have to get known.
I travelled for 15 years doing multiple shows around the country.
Great video with good content. You are so adorable. I don't have a daughter, but if I did, I would hope she would be like you.
Here is a job suggestion for you. You are smart, very well spoken, and present things in a very fun/animated way. If you pair that with your desire to travel, you get one really awesome travel host. I would suggest you send some sample videos, (videos made specially for this purpose), to say the Travel Channel, you Discovery Chanel, or Cooking Network, tour channels that promote resorts and stuff. Even SPIKE tv has Host that travel to see different makers or to hot rod shows, or car auctions in different places of the country. There are all sorts of options. DO some research and make some sample videos. You have the smarts, the talent, and the smile for it. Hope this message gets to you.
The dudes in your comments make me soooooooo glad I'm an acne riddled weirdo.
I think I'm in love.
Thanks for the suggestions, good stuff.
I think as long as you're really careful, keep doing what you're doing, you'll be so happy when you get older and look back at what you did in your life. Not many people are adventurous as you are, I'm a truck driver so I get to see all sorts of different towns and cities and states. But with how you're doing it is actually the way to go, you get to spend more time checking out neat little crevices in a town, that I don't have time too see. You're so young and you have supportive parents that I'm sure are worried to death about what you're doing, but at the same time happy that this is what makes you happy and it's who you are, I enjoy watching your channel and keep it up, i'm living vicariously through you...stay safe and don't trust nobody... even though they seem legit, sort look at new people you meet with a jaundiced eye!
omg such a beautiful, fascinating girl
Yes beautiful, fascinating down to earth, simply friggin awesome woman!! my type for sure . Where are you Ahle?
Marry me.
One of the things that I did when I was ready to move around a little, I used things like CraigsList to advertise the area I was in what not and then offer out rides for people, like a cheap taxi or uber. I'd get to travel or move around which is what I intended anyhow and then I'm now also getting paid for it. The times I stayed in area's I did what you said, browsed for temp work or offered up some basic work skills like if people needed things moving or gardens cleaning up or things along that line. Window Cleaning was pretty popular for me.
Awesome videos, great advice, thanks & well done Ahle!
Youre like a real life version of pikachu
Awesome video! Why aren't there more chicks like this? I'm surrounded by prudes and snobs with to much make up and there is no amount of make up that can mask an ugly heart. These videos show me there is still hope...
MR E right! who gaf if she lives in her car she's a nice person not to mention open minded and resourceful. I would totally hang with this chick she would probably be an awesome friend
Bro, you act like you know her. Chill
MR E why do men try to compliment women by insulting other women lol
MR E you have to expand more your life circle. ;)
He just gave his opinion!!
Love the vlog darlin so awesome keep t up
Love your advice I have used Craigslist so many times and got jobs never had any problem.
great fun (living nomadic) when you are young. wait until you are older, married, and/or have kids. regular job time! or find husband! dental insurance, health insurance, and saving for retirement is good too.
How's your retirement doing? I have worked 70 hours a week for 30 years, I had to start over from nothing 3 times. what retirement. also I worked with a guy who dropped dead on the job, you sure you are going to make retirement? she's retired now, she is traveling and doing now what people wait their whole life to do and some never make it there.
oh, and your like literally the hottest girl ive ever seen in my life, no joke
I have storage units in different places I like and store my gear during the day and LYFT or UBER during the day! Works great
Using sites like workaway are also a great way to travel with little money. Although they do not pay you money, you will get a place to stay and food; there is also an opportunity to learn new skills and make contacts for the future.
Can i travel with you
lol. thats alright.
I've watched a lot of her videos but still can't decide whether she's legit or not.
gitgit1995
Legit what? Are you expecting her to be something, and if it doesn't meet your expectation then she won't be legit in your mind? What is she not allowed to have a house or ever sleep in a hotel room for her to be legit? She has stated that she lives the way she lives by choice. She's not crying out for help from anyone nor is she trying to gain sympathy nor scam people. Her lifestyle is her choice. If she chooses to take a break from it and stay in a normal sheltered place, is that wrong? Absolutely not! Just her being alive is legit enough for me bud. She has nothing to prove to anyone
Hi Ahle, Would love to see more of your van build. Your thoughts about how you want it to work. Love your enthusiasm!
Great ideas! So many choices. It's all out there for us to try. Safe travels cutie!
Half Asian chicks are the best
Does anyone else get depressed thinking she's so good looking and compassionate and you'll never get a girl like her?
I come to the channel for 3 things.
1. To hear her talk. She's compassionate and caring
2. Her smile. The eyes got me
3. She's going against the grain of society even if people may look down upon her. She could easily find a guy to live with in a luxury condo but chooses to live in a van
ENGINEERED TRUTH I think she is very good looking and she seems very, very kind and sweet but I don't have the mentality that I will never get her. I feel like she is real and she has her flaws but even then that doesn't bother me. She looks like the type of girl I would like even with flaws.
GREAT COMMENT ;) SO TRUE ;)
as if all girls and women WANTED to live a luxury life thanks to some guy...even pretty girls can think with their brains you know....
ENGINEERED TRUTH why would you get depressed? If you want such girl in your life then go get one?
You weirdo...this is so creepy and pathetic
You have helped me alot and had got me through hard times and i thank you for that i will forever be in you debt
Very good video! Like you're material and delivery! Best of luck out there!
talk talk talk. Just talk Hobo Ahle, noone is actually listening to what you say. You just have a mesmerizing look and voice O_O haha
Lol true for some... but some people actually want ideas on how to make money on the road XD
Indeedzie. But you should start a podcast. You knowww you got those talky- smiley - feely good skilz lol don't be humble you know it
I was literally googling the title an hour ago, not everyone is so shallow lol.
im listening.

Speak for yourself dude. This is a pleasant youtube channel for everyone to enjoy including children. She is very informative and inspiring. And has lots of followers. There are plenty of sights on the internet for your perverted mind to view, but this ain't one of em. Gtfo with your bs
