In lieu of tying knots to the tarp, you can make a small loop in your rope, put it through the eyelet of the tarp, then put a small stick through the loop. This makes for a quick assembly and disassembly of your system. This also will allow for easy adjustments without having to untie knots.

I have some like 10 20 30 gallon storage plastic storage things that I can use to collect rainwater in and my camper has a awning that I figure I can use to help direct the water so it'll like a gutter thing or just collect it coming from the sky. But this also looks like an interesting idea

At a mission they hang a tarp vertical on the slope of a hill or angle. It gets covered in dew that streams down into a bucket that has a cheese cloth covering. If it's humid it's a good way to catch water.
If you're bugged out curl up the ends of your tarp that's over your tent and catch the dew, at one corner, that falls off in the night.

Great method to catch rain water👍 thank you for sharing.
another good method if you live in a city or town and not much access to nature, is use an umbrella☂ it already has the shape to catch water and allow travel downward.
You turn it upside down so the handle can be attached to branch or something, or hang it from your balcony, cut holes in center let gravity take it's course.
put your self made filtration system under the center and let the cleaner water fill your bucket underneath the filtration system.
Hope this helps in your community.
    All the best from England🤝

I hope your hand is doing better! I see it's still wrapped up.😔 At my off grid property I'm not up there very often. For passive rain water collection I have several large plastic trash cans setting around the property. The lid is turned upside down to concentrate water to the center where I cut holes like you did and has screening like you did. I also added a spigot near the bottom to collect it and I can attach a hose as well for watering my garden. Blessings, Texas Deb ❤️

Maybe even consider being prepared to doing this in multiple locations, and or at least more than one if you have the resources to make it possible !
    Be prepared to improvise !
Your circumstances may be compromised !
Your tie off points might need to be a bit creative !
    Cohen is correct !
Try to make sure you have the bucket lids !
Remember the critters are thirsty as well, and well gladly drink up all of your hard work !
    Great tip on the
    pre-screening suggestions !
Leaves will contaminate your water quickly, and make it bitter and not much fun to drink if you can at all help it !
Then, be prepared, and equipped to be able to boil your collected water !
Believe it or not, it is possible to boil water even in a plastic bottle !
Just make sure you keep turning it so the heat doesn't stay in the same spot on your plastic bottle !
Make sure you use a relatively low heat, or make sure you are keeping your bottle at a safe distance from a fire that you might be using. But it can be done with patience and especially practice !

It's from the chemtrails, contains nanoparticles of metals like aluminum, strontium, barium, etc. As well as dessicants and other destructive particles. Reccomend letting it rain for a few minutes before catching the water, then filter it before drinking. Check out geoengineering, Dane Wigington may have this information on his channel. I saw a report when they followed the plane dispersing, they collected samples and had them tested. These are NOT contrails, which dissipate quickly.

Water filtration possibilities : Sand, rock and activated charcoal in a bucket, Berkeley, Zero water, or if you don't have that build you a box with glass of some sort on the lid angled down like the tarp in this video, place in the sun with a catch bucket at the end place water in the bottom close and destill the water. It will take longer but it's worth it. Or a stainless steel pot and boil it. A natural hot water heater with less smoke is Go back to Riversides fire brick rocket stove video but change one thing stack the brick in a circle 1 layer first wrap a copper tube around that first layer of brick in a virtical coil leaving enough tubing to reach from a supply bucket down to a catchment bucket then insulate with brick around that. As the brick warms so will the water running through that copper. Add to this comment if you can please.

There are water purification products that you can buy on Amazon and possibly at sporting goods stores. You have to purchase these ahead to be prepared for an emergency situation. I am using a 5 year water preserver product from Amazon in my stored water, but also I plan to boil our drinking and cooking water. I also have an Alexapure counter top water filter system which will hopefully help strain out most of the bacteria and viruses. You may want to start looking at UA-cam videos about water filtration and purification and then make the best plan for your situation. The key point is to be prepared, don’t wait for a disaster to limit all your options. Teresa, you are way ahead of most people who are not even thinking about safe emergency water.

@@RiversideHomesteadLife if ur interested in the PPM and PH from my new dehumidifier I can go do a test but I'm sure it varies from house to house but theoretically u could have the drain hose drain into a large holding tank and have unlimited amount of water, mine all summer pulled 6L 50 pints 6.3 quart 1.6 gallon a day.

What happens when it doesn't rain, and a person doesn't have water?
Choosing to live somewhere where there is no water can be risky. Because if it doesn't rain then someone can dehydrate, and maybe die of thirst. On the other hand choosing to live somewhere where there is a lot of water can also be problematic as well.
Humans can die by not having water to drink, or having access to too much water to a point of drowning in water.

No good. Ever notice the chemtrails and jets spraying it 2 to 3 days before it's supposed to rain in your area? Look up! Collect water when there's no rain in the forecast. I wish you all the best. Help someone.
