I've tried hiring employees, but found out that I'm more profitable if I prepare taxes alone at my home office. Although I could definitely crank out more tax returns with an assistant!
I appreciate your videos a lot you are very helpful m. I have been watching your videos lately because I will soon be taking courses of becoming a tax professional and this is very helpful. I am getting myself prepared and learning the ropes.
Me personally I just want to be outsourcing in my 2nd or 3rd year and make a few 10-20k or more each tax season almost completely passively. If that's possible I'd love a coach for that.
I am not sure why you think a business client will pay 1000$ per year to file personal and business tax returns unless you offer other services. I am a SBO owner pay a total of 2600 $ per year to manage my payroll , book keeping , business and personal tax returns.
Hi! Thank you so much for information! Very inspiring especially for someone who just decided to become EA. What tax preparation software are you using? And what’s the reasonable price for the tax preparation software? As a new EA would you recommend to buy pay-by-return model of the software? Thank you so much in advance for your response!
I'm guessing you cant charge every business $1,000. my wife and I had a small landscaping business and they charged us $280.00 for the taxes including personal taxes so what kind of business are you charging 1k are those restaurants and bars?
No, you don't! :) You will however will want to make sure that you take on classes or courses that will help you succeed in this type of business. I suggest Certifyible.com for tax and bookkeeping courses. :)
but I know practices that are forcing their tax preparers to do between 300-400 clients, that’s abusive, I do 100 tax clients myself working part time and weekends and the stress level is very high, but 200-300 is reasonable if working full time during tax season, so only 2 preparers should be able to do 500 returns in a season easily, but business clients are boss!!

You are not leveraging technology and outsourcing the work. Satellite office with outsourcing tax prep to brilliant EAs in third world countries (example india) would increase the bottomline, plain and simple

Depends on the size of the business. I've seen people making 110k per year pay $1200 for a return
how do you balance the work throughout the year with deadlines and tight windows to get the taxes done?
