Will soloing mauradon still be a thing after you reach 60 for gold? heard you mention they fixed pathing in SM, is this also the case in other dungeons?
i've also looked into this. From what i can gather like it will be like Classic Era servers, so no cap on mobs you can hit(Blizzard aoe), so apart from the SM changes everything should be like it was on classic launch in 2019.
Fire is very fun to play imo and contrary to popular belief it’s actually decent to play, the only downside is limited survivability so PvP servers can be a pain
For PvP frost mage build would it be bad to put atleast one point in improved blizzard? Or that wouldn’t make to much of a difference? Iv been doing dungeons quite a bit and already used one respect. Currently 31 following the talent guide
It’s up to you but you’d lose 3 points somewhere else which is a hard trade off. Tbh once you have shatter you can just nova then cast flamestrike + cone of cold, batching these together is way higher DPS than blizzard, especially for questing and/or dungeons. Blizzard is good if you’re AoE farming for kiting tonnes of mobs but that’s about it. Thanks
It depends on your circumstances but Fire is super underrated and fun to play but Frost is more efficient and gives you a lot more control. If you’re solo questing on a PvE server you’ll have no issues going Fire. Personally I’d always recommend giving the AoE a go 40+ solo’ing ZF makes 40-52 super super fast. Is there a specific reason you don’t like AoE?

TBH I'd like the Crit on the AOE more rather then the BIG hit. I lvl with monbs 3+ lvls above me, and they usualy evade my big hit. So 6 seconds + mana for nothing. And in fresh, you usualy play with groups. So it's much more worth for me to leverage the AOE as much as possible, especially in regards of its mana costs. I'm OOM after 4 casts. But I am full intelligence, I almost always Crit. It makes tons of fun and I can kill huge mobs in an instant. For mobs on the same lvl, the big hit is great, you have 2 dots. But in my. Opinion it's clearly to slow and the risk of not hitting is too high compared to the mana cost.
Yeah that can work mate, only thing is blizzard doesn’t work well with Frostbite and Frostbite is great for single target frost but if your main focus is questing then go for big shatter flame strikes & cone of colds, does a lot of damage!

I’m level 34 currently and having a hard time getting big pulls because every grinding spot is contested.. should I switch to ST Frost till 42 then do aoe zf?
@@summerschoolduh For XP its decent but if you really want gold you could consider AoE grinding in swamp of sorrows when you're around 36+. Its very quiet there and you get the mobs to yourself, they drop greys that sell for a good amount of gold, just be warey of the spiders since they net you

In other versions of the game AoE in dungeons was nerfed, after X amount of time the mobs would be immune to slows and run faster. Not in classic era though, only the pathing in SM has been fixed so it’s very hard to solo. TLDR: Blizzard works fine in classic era. Thanks
cant AOE farm on these new servers. I tried, every spot had 3 mages on them. It was very hard to get this going. I am 26 and I only leveled once as AOE. so just gonna drop it for fire since im on pve server
Arcane is useless. You will never get early enough a wand and arcane build lifes from Aoe farming too. Aoe farming at fresh start on a Megaserver= 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I tell you what to do... You will skill all into frost and press frostboalt. Thats it.
Wdym, getting a wand is easy and pretty much mandatory.. and when you claim to know it all, maybe don't suggest frostbolting when fire is so much better in the early levels...

@ no problem mate I’m just curious, ZF is a little tricky to learn but once mastered you will honestly fly through 42-52, I did it faster than 30-40

Yes of course mate, stay with Fire and then respec if you start to feel a power loss or if you feel you're drinking way too much.

You can continue as frost that’s fine, it’s just a bit slow in the early levels but you save yourself 1g by not respeccing
Man the frost aoe isn’t working at all for me… everything gets resisted and blizzard just doesn’t do enough damage.

I keep hearing fire is the worst spec for leveling
For high burst single target it’s great and very fun to play. If you’re on about speed then you’d go for AoE frost

That’s true it will save you 1g from respec but slightly slower levelling up to 22
