Great song by Led Zeppelin, and a great live performance of it to watch is from their 1970 Royal Albert Hall concert.
EVERYTHING from that gig was amazing!
Don't you love how Jimmy just screws with your head with his guitar - goes through every tone, from mellow to screechy, off notes, weird effects. Just a masterpiece of lead guitar.
I LOVE Robert Plant's Screams!❤😊
This song and You Shook are probably my two favorites of this album! One helluva debut album!
@@mattharvey968 i absolutely love You Shook Me, it shows each of their many talents, love Plant on the harmonica.
Fantastic heavy but creative take on the blues.
No Van Halen without Led Zeppelin. Not only was Jimmy an amazing guitarist, he was a prolific producer.
And an amazing composer.
Jimmy Page The Guitar GOD! Jimmy has so many of the greatest solos, & amazing riffs, an absolute music genius.
Could not agree more. Jimmy is The Master. 😊
Don't sleep on Robert's voice!
Jimmy is a beast and the GOAT for sure 😂 I hope you keep going in chronological order .I'm about to go check out how many more times. Great reaction and Peace out 🙏 ✌️ ☮️
President Mugs!
Sup Lucky long time no see
@@MugnifyRTS Been enjoying the Zep journey. Top (3) bands of all time are Led Zeppelin, Tool and Radiohead. Good honest reactions with you Mugs. Nothing faked. It's fun!!
Man, the memories! I was only 18yrs old and when this first Led Zeppelin album came out, I had to have it! Mainly because of this song, I Can't Quit You, Babe. Do you know how old this song is? It's over 50yrs old! There were a lot of musicians that were very talented and a lot of great music to listen to, dance to...........
❤❤❤Robert ❤❤❤
Bonzo The Beast! "I Can't Quit You Baby" was written by Chicago Blues great Willie Dixon and was first recorded by Otis Rush in 1956. Led Zeppelin covered several blues songs in their early years, sometimes without proper attributions, many of which were called out and corrected in the decades since. LZ caught hell for that for quite a long while, but without those covers the originals would likely have faded away into obscurity. Check out the video of Otis Rush playing the song in 1966 that is totally lit.
@@mikecaetano I agree, they kept those songs, or a version of them alive & to a wider audience. I think they thought they changed them, & didn’t need to give credit, or didn’t know they needed to. I know they really loved the old blues songs, especially Plant & Page, as young teens they couldn’t wait to get the records when they came to England.
You should check out their concert film "The Song Remains the Same", filmed at Madison Square Garden over 3 nights in 1973. It doesn't have this particular gem, but their live version of "Since I've Been Loving You" is off he charts good. Jimmy and Robert both go off. There's definitely videos circulating of single songs from this film on UA-cam too. Worth a look. By the way, shoutout to the most entertaining and inquisitive mind in the reaction game, The Magnificent Mug! Cheers, bro.
Ooh the Winter Brothers with Led Zeppelin! Great fantasy league of Blues giants. Thanks for that thought.
Their heavy blues songs are their best for sure!
Yup...❤😂
Jimmy is A Rock God
Jimi's solo here is so weird.. that is why I love him.
Mmmm YUM
Johnny's deceased darlin
Zeppelin, Van Halen and Guns And Roses had the top three breakout albums of Rock.
Boston???
@@mikecaetanoFor sure yes, but I was thinking more harder heavier stuff.
Make it 4 - The Doors.
I read an interview where Johnny Winter said about this song 'I don't know what that is. It ain't blues'. Soooo... that collab was probably not happening
Finish the song!!!!
