Not sure if I miss it in your video. But I don't think you have mention anything about Nimble Onslaught since that is the main point about using Flight over Fight. Maybe this video is aiming for veteran so it doesn't need explaination I guess.
Some of the other tips I can give are:
- During your flurry, you can switch to Twin Blade Dance (TBD for short) by holding a key direction and use heavy attack. Afterward you can still continue using your flurry if you use normal attack again. This is the same concept as continue a combo after a dodge.
- At the start of your combo finisher (when you do an uppercut), this is actually a dodge too. So time wisely and gain that easy perfect dodge.
- Between each TBD, there is a small gap where you can actually get hit even with Flight over fight. You can actually remove this gap by perfoming a dodge between each TBD.
- If you are not confidence about your gaming ability, bring Luftspiegelung skill with you for a free dodge (doesn't work for certain attack)
- How to min-max your dps during a 100% link time. For me the best way is Southern Cross -> Turbulenz chain to flurry chain instantly to combo finisher -> (Yes your Turbulenz is up again) Turbulenz chain to flurry chain instantly to combo finisher and then repeat from Southern Cross.
I understand some of you might spam TBD because you are afraid to die so I understand the spamming. But still you need to brave up since you have flight over fight + nimble onslaught which will give you a 6s of invincible after a dodge. Use these 6s wisely and increase your dps. Make the game more fun, challenge yourself to push out more damage.
Better explanation than someone telling me never to use Tbd in a public game or else I’m a scumbag

What AI should I pair lancelot with? Currently running him with Eugen-Cag-Sieg/Rac
it's funny because when i used the gbf dmg calc from github on my behemoth/lucillius solo w/ ai runs, my finishers overall damage share is larger than southern cross

Id rather 2 alpha and 2 beta for skill damage cause his skill cd plus cd sigils; but thats just me
Vane definitely needs Beta. I would go alpha beta.
Nice guide my man, though im a little confused, since you have max supp damage (3 sup V sigils) why do you need the skill? Does it stack?
Yes, I believe that the self buff supp damage is considered a separate instance of supplemental damage.
Sorry if it was mentioned but in the normal Lancelot build would you still keep Flight over fight?
yes; unless you're fighting a boss that pretty much stands still (target dummy/proto bahamut)

If this is what he’s talking about, when Lucilus uses donut spin att, it’s a multi instance att and you can use precise wrath to hit multiple perfect block, that brings your SBA from 30% to almost max with just 15lvl
Well, at least the "HYIAA HYIAA" Spam in Jp dub is not as high pitched and annoying. That said, i encountered multiple Lancelots and they don't brain dead spam the dodge. They actually do some work and the only time i see them spamming it is during seven trumpets to move around.
Yeah for what it’s worth, I do believe that the main offender is when you just don’t want to die during the ball dodge phases; otherwise it actually kinda feels bad to just see all of your skills up and not use them

Just max nimble onslaught and uplift with alpha and you can spam down Lucilus with SBA, who cares about Lancelot dealing dmg, your teammates gonna love you (only for lucilus btw). Do agree with using combo finisher in between skills though but not as significant as Charlotta

@@cannaaaa i saw all ppl using 2x alpha and 2x gamma. but why not 2x beta too ? So u have 6 sigls and beta gives you skill damage cap increase.
i know ur on 250 % dmg cap with 4 sigls but beta give you skill dmg cap on top

@@Flynn089 Because it's a waste on the DMG cap! You can use two other slots with some other sigil. Using 6 of these sigils becomes a waste ont he DMG cap since it only takes 4 max and not 6.

If you are using steam, you can actually go into "controller settings", and change so that your square button is on a repeated loop! Found this out recently and bruh bless hope my controller lasts longer now

I feel like using 3 Supp V with 4 dark sigils is way too much DPS/utility loss. Not having as much Uplift/Cascade/QCD makes you contribute way less DPS for the team when you cant use as much SBA/Southern Cross. It's better to drop 1-2 of those for utility honestly.
to be honest, i think the argument of 4 luci sigils vs having more utility is up to personal preference. for what it's worth, the second you have access to stuff like supp damage v+ and fof v+ this argument i think deteriorates a bit since you ideally would stack qcd and cascade together. however ultimately i dont think lancelot actually makes such insane use of cascade and qcd that it's life threatening if you don't have it. by comparison, i can definitely see why you would perhaps drop the sigils for someone like vaseraga or io needing charge-affecting sigils.
@@cannaaaa For utility, I'd have a hard time giving up potion hoarder. Even with chain dodges, sometimes I get one-shot just as a dodge is ending. Also, you can use 1 supp 4+ at level 10, that still gives you a 97% chance to proc sup damage, and gives you another level 11 skill.
I have the good sigil yet i still cant make this huge dmg number..imma give ul on this gane as it is consuming too much time and whatever you do doesnt really work...i did follow all the videos on youtube and it doesnt work...i rather play more story than just fight bosses
as long as you can clear the fight, its not that important. Were mostly farming for degrees of over kill

There's an option in Steam that allows you to spam his attacks from just holding the button
In german (and dutch in some cases) you pronounce the ch as a K. So its Blauer Dolk, meaning blue blade.
Klatzwinger, is pronounced as Kalts-Wing-er.

That being said, thanks for this guide! I was wondering how to build my Lancelot and how to play him. Seeing these numbers makes me reconsider how I play him.

It’s not blauer Dol“k“. It’s dol“ch“ as in chihuahua.

@@IllTygerKing It is dol“ch“, not dol“k“ like you tried to say. But American speakers have problems pronouncing a German „ch“, so calling it Dol“sh“ is still much more accurate than Dol“k“

Been playing Lancelot for 600 hours without fof and dodging isn’t a problem. This build seems like it just prevents people from learning game mechanics
What you said is true. It really prevents people from learning game mechanic. But it is a legit build for Lancelot.
Lancelot can easily reach damage cap, there isn't much he can gain more beside adding more stun, quick cooldown or uplift sigils.
Flight over fight + nimble onslaught give SBA gauge, decrease skill cooldown and a 6s invicible time which is a good replacement for both uplift and quick cooldown.
Since Lancelot has an inbuild dodge attack then might as well as take advantages of it.
In general, people doesn't really want to use Fof + Nimble.O since it decrease a lot of attack and a lot of characters can't reach damage cap due to it. But it's still better than dying and not able to deal damage in Lucilius Raid. The 6s invicible allows player to have more window to attack than just keep on dodging and dying.
