Great content! One thing you didn't talk about that I am trying to decide on was the limits on students. Teachable and Thinkific allow unlimited students, but Kajabi gets really expensive beyond a certain level
I appreciate this detailed review. I’ve used all and am now on Mighty Networks. One note, the 6 services a la’ carts offer more features than the all-in-one, like Kajabi so not Apple to Apple comparisons. Also, one of the three allow for vibrant, engaged community.
This was helpful, Brie. I'm making some of these decisions now--and I'm sort of simultaneously starting a newsletter while developing carpentry/woodworking courses, so I'm leaning towards Kajabi. I already have a fairly sizeable youtube audience, so I think it makes more sense to go ahead and invest in it as a business tool. I'll use your link when it's time to sign up. Thank you! :)
I think there are downsides to Kajabi not mentioned in this video. There are limitations with the $159 per month plan. Only 15 products (=courses). I plan to host a lot more as many of you will too. Max 25000 contacts of which only 10000 can be active. Other platforms = unlimited. Courses - have not quiz section nor any of the different types of quizes like thinkific offers. Analytics are very basic. And finally - not very intuitive - for example - to set an assignment to a course, you have to go to PEOPLE > ASSIGNMENT, then once done link it to a course. Crazy logic! I prefer MightyNetworks, LearnWords and Thinkific in that order. Note - if you want to build a community - not possible with teachable; not sure how good with Kajabi. But is with my 3 preferences. Good luck peops.
Thank you!! This was extremely helpful. I was on the fence between Kajabi and Thinkific and this helped me to nail down which one to go with, it'll be Kajabi for me. Again thanks, great video!
Thank you so much. This was so very helpful! I've watched a BUNCH of comparison vids, and yours is the first one I've seen that doesn't feel like you're just pushing one platform across the board for everyone. I appreciate how you broke down all the details of each platform. You've confirmed what I was thinking... I'll be going with Kakabi. Thanks! Have a beautiful day! 😊
Great presentation, Brie! I did some homework on SkillShare and Udemy and realized they weren't for me. Then you helped with clarifying the important distinctions between these 3 providers. You made it all much clearer. Thank you!
You are comparing apples to oranges. Udemy and skillshare generate their own traffic to your course at the cost of taking a much bigger cut. ThIinkific and Teachable are for generating your own traffic and thus giving you much bigger margins.
No i haven’t made my decision! I have an online business as a vocal coach! But I feel 159$ is too much but afraid I will regret not signing up for Kajabi
I'm going to choose EzyCourse over and over again, as it's ideal for anyone and everyone, even if you're a beginner, or you're switching platforms, or if you're looking for customising your site completely to build and sell under your own brand. EzyCourse gives full flexibility so you can get the real value of your time and money, by creating and selling courses, communities and real-time group/private chats from your own site and mobile apps all up live and maintained by EzyCourse.
Thanks for this! I really want a space where there is a lot of community interaction options - In my research it seems like might is great for this, but I do not like their course options. Would you recommend one of these platforms over another for community features?
Interesting. I tested kajabi, but didn’t like the website builder. Was thinking of thinkafic, convertkit and zoom as my bundle. Also using Pagecloud for websites today, so am probably going to continue with that.
Whatever works best for you! Kajabi's website builder is a little different than the others, and it isn't for everyone. Sounds like a good stack you've got though :)
I already have a Squarespace website - so, could I move my website to Kajabi without needing to recreate an entirely new site? I'm scared to lose my site
I was using thinikfic basic one for a while but thye block the payment .... can you please advise if the kajabi has third party payment or any suggestion on the payment plan/
Hey! What do you think of LifterLMS? Or got any other recommendations for course builder plugins? I’ve been looking into lifter, but wanted to know if there are any others I should check out? Thanks!💐
Great comparison. Very detailed and informative. We have something to make all these platforms even better for course creators and would love to hear your feedback. Can I invite you to a 15-min Zoom chat, if so what email should I use?

Excellent presentation! You've helped me machete my way through the jungle comprising online course offerings.

Glad I could be of help!
Seriously, the most comprehensive one out there! Well done! Thanks for sharing this!
Glad it was helpful!
This was a good overview, thank you.
Great video, Brie! Thank you! I was already leaning toward Kajabi, and this just sealed the deal.
Glad it was helpful!
I have been going back and forth so much about which one of these to pick! Thanks so much for this detailed comparison :)
Glad it was helpful! Were you able to come to a conclusion? Would love to hear what you went with :)
Great presentation, Brie! I did some homework on SkillShare and Udemy and realized they weren't for me. Then you helped with clarifying the important distinctions between these 3 providers. You made it all much clearer. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Skillshare and Udemy are great for learning, but you definitely have less control over the pricing and marketing of your courses.

What were your results, which platform are you going to use to host your online courses?

Very thoughtful, very helpful.
Best review I've seen so far. Thank you for making this!
Glad it was helpful!
I'm definitely a Thinkific fan. I just don't like how when your phone rotates, it pauses the video.

I would love to get a view of the user experience. So how does it feel as a student in these platforms?
Great video, thank you for the information and recommendations!
You are so welcome!

Fantastic platform review! Well deserving of an Kajabi affiliate link use!!
Thank you Brie!
Thank you for your post

Very thorough, thank you.

Thank you!
Thank you so much.
Is there no landing pages in Thinkific? Can I not create landing pages or create a freebie?
Hi, could you please give some comments on Podia course platform? Thanks
I'll add it to my list of videos to make, thanks for the suggestion!
Is there a transaction fee in Thinkific?
Do you work with others to setup their course on Kajabi?
Can I ask a random question? What American accent do you speak? I notice some Americans pronounce "creator" as "cre-a-tor" instead of "creyator".
I'm Canadian!
they are soo expensive
Great comparison. Very detailed and informative.
