The mixing valve directs hot (radiator) water through a seperate coil. The air is both refrigerated and heated by seperate systems.

G'day from Australia, just before I just watched your post I was booking my '96 'cruiser into an air. con. specialist for a service and refill. I followed your post,checked the hvac valve, and gained a quarter of an inch reach on the cable which dropped the temp out of the centre vents from 12*c. to 3*c for 2 mins work. Fantastic stuff and totally appreciate your post Ray, from Victoria, OZ.
Thank you for this great solution for the aircon, it took 5 minutes and now the slide control moves all the way to the cold side and i can really feel the difference. I thought i was up for a re-gas and a service !! Much appreciated :-)
Can I drive my 1992 land cruiser without the AC Belt? It broke and I got it out and am ordering a new one for my mechanic to install. Can I drive the car without the AC belt? It seems to drive well, just no AC.
Thanks for sharing man. I just wanna ask, i have a land cruiser 80 series 1993, i've been struggling trynna find a way to fix the A/C problem and went to so many car electricians but !! Long story short, the front A/C isn't cooling but the rear is ok and even the small refrigerator by the driver seat is fine. I wish you can help me fix it. Thanks.
hello. how to fix my LC200 electronic climate control AC. it doesn't blow air from the front vents. other vents are working perfectly when pushing Mode button.
I am not sure. You could unhook the cable and manually turn the valve to the cold setting and see what happens. Are all other parts of the system working correctly?

I have a 2011 land cruiser and the ac is really cold on passenger side by hot on driver side?! rear is cold as well. is there a valve for each side?

HONOR HMM I am not sure. In the US Land Cruisers only came with front AC and no refrigerators. Good luck amigo, I hope you can fix it.
My 1997 LC just blow cool but not cold air, should I adjust the cable up or down? Thanks in advance.
There is a Limiter on the Valve when u pull UP the cable assembly take it all the way up for it to blow freezing cold air ..

This valve can be checked by trying to blow air thru it when it is removed. Mine leaked.

الوافي الشهم I am not sure. The 2005 land cruiser is much different than the 1996.
if this fix still doesn't work replace the valve as they can internally leak and let hot water pass once they start to get old.

The cable doesn’t allow me to pull or push in the line at all..valve doesn’t move from switching from cold to hot. Is it stuck? :(
Are you saying the cable doesn't move inside the sleeve/to be that it is inside of?
Neatus Garage Studios actually just checked again and it’s working. But noticed when I switched to hot the valve was leaking bad.
Might need to replace that valve. If that totally fails it could cause your rig to overheat. Check the hoses too.
What can i do if i don't have the cable regulator?
I am not sure. Is there no mixing valve?
@@jeepingneatus I explained myself wrong... I have the regulating valve but not the cord that regulates it
