This movie was just perfect. One of the best adaptions of a novel i ever watched. The cast was also perfect, you couldnt find better actors. My favourite scene is when the baron recites "der Erlkönig" to Edmund. I got goosebumps

at times Hans reminds me of bruno ! ( the film). hope you post more vintage memories.
this clip shows the magic of the studio .. and that was cutting edge technology, and an amazing score writer.
