The video entertainment value/editing is top notch! Very well done! The plugin looks dope as well! It’s crazy that you have time to be a Bartender, Plugin Developer, Audio Engineer and a Pro UA-camr. Very impressive!
I'm addicted to drum vst's, so this one is right up my alley. Thanks so much. It would be cool if you could code it so that the user is able to drop in his/her own samples. I've subscribed to your channel and looking forward to see what your next project might be. Cheers!
Great idea. I originally planned on including this feature, but I was overly confident in what I could achieve within the time I was given. Next project has been in the works a few months. Hope you enjoy it when release day comes.
Just came here from Christian's channel. You, sir, are a very talented chap indeed. Thank you for showing the reality of sampling, which is basically a nutcase under a blanket hitting and stroking things repeatedly. I showed it to my wife to assure her that I'm not the only one with this affliction. Audio and alcohol is a great mix and I'll be downloading both as soon as I get back to the studio and my single malt collection. New subscriber here. Cheers!
The live streams are currently up here www.youtube.com/@BeepBoopAudio/streams. There is some set-up required to get my system to work because I use a modified template from this online course (xtant-audio.com/product/kontakt-scripting-collection/). I did make a different library on pianobook that is heavily commented to explain each line of code (www.pianobook.co.uk/packs/kontakt-scripting-playground/). So I don't have this drum machine open-source (other than writing 90% of the code on stream), but honestly you would gain much more from looking at David's course or my Kontakt scripting playground.
Fantastic video. I think it’s funny that we both thought we weren’t going to build a library for this year’s advent calendar, and we both ended up creating one, and we both went for kitchen sounds. Yours looks far better than mine, tho! Congratulations on a successful release!
Funny how these things turn out. Thought the same thing when I saw your library. Would have been an easy collab to put your superior samples in this engine.
OK but installed and attempting to use with Kontakt 7 (full paid version) and I am not getting any sound, nor do I see any meter activity in Kontakt or LIve. How do I make it so the sounds come out? Do the samples need to be somewhere other than in the same directory as the "instruments" folder?
Thank you so much for downloading this instrument. You should not have to alter the location of the samples folder. You would actually get a pop-up box saying "Content Missing" if the NKI is unable to locate the samples. You can also check the backend by clicking the wrench at the top-left corner, then clicking "Mapping editor" to view the sample map. If the samples are blue, that means samples are connected. If they're purple, that means Kontakt can not locate the samples. Please let me know if you are seeing purple sample blocks or being presented the "Content Missing" error. I'm here to help.
There are many features in this engine that are impossible within DS. BUT I made a point to NOT encrypt the samples, so you can download the zip on Pianobook and use the samples within your DAW or load it into your own drag-n-drop drum machine.
Great video and amazing project. Keep up the good work and have fun drumming, coding and drinking, cheers to that!
I'll drink to that! A-MAZING work Owen. What a treat for the Pianobook community
Cheers Stephen! I can't wait to hear how Pianobook members use this library.

Incredible plug-in! Fantastic video! I bet those cocktails taste pretty darn good too.
Next challenge: create a signature Pianobook cocktail!
Thank you Simon! Really appreciate your willingness to push back the release date so I could finish this video.
this is soo cool 🎉
Thank you!
Your channel is very fun, greetings from Mexico
Congratulations! fun video too
Will try!
Let me know if you make any tracks with On The Rocks. I would love to hear your work.
New here. This video and plugin are so well-made. Thank you!!!
Great work. Is there a link to the VOD from the livestream? Is this something you'd consider opening up source for others to study from?

@@BeepBoopAudio thanks a ton!

What software do you use to make your plugins?
I'm using Kontakt for this video, but I've been using HISE for other projects.
We need a Kontakt to DS converter. I don't use Kontakt

you know how I know AI is taking over the Software Industry?? You are a hell of software engineer but you dayjob is being a bartender.
the only thing I must mention - Kontakt is the worst as it's not available for Linux users - better options: Decent Sampler, TX16Wx sampler
