When a woman is cheated on... It's not easy to trust your partner or love him anymore. Small things can irritate you But mine is you cheat I'm out. When you grew up in a home where you saw your Mum stressed because of such and still to date can't forget it's really unbearable. A man that cheats finishes you like no other. But when women return the, favour it becomes more worse to men and they can even kill a woman for that

How did our grandparents stayed married until they were 90 yrs old? What about this modern-day pressure that once a partner has cheated, divorce papers from the lawyers next week, pretending as if we have suddenly become perfect, flawless human beings? Why are you not eager to divorce your spouse, if he has cheated on his business & pocketed a million rands, it's a character flaw isn't? But she does state that it's her own disposition. She's not generalizing. I'm pretty sure she won't stay when she feels all the things you've mentioned. It's true that women divorce very quickly because of cheating, hoping to move on to another man that won't cheat. Only to realize that the new man is a worse cheater than the first. I'm one of those who quit a marriage because of cheating while having 2 young children. They have suffered a lot because of it. I've question myself many times whether it was worth them suffering the way they did because as good a mother as I was/ am, I could not be both mother and father in their eyes. So someone else chosing to stay cannot be labelled based on a selfish decision to leave. There are more than the 2 people in marriage. For those who can stay and take it, by all means they need to do what's right by them and their children. Nobody else will step up and play a fatherly role for anyone's children once the parents divorce. Unfortunately when men move on, they move on - even from the fatherly responsibility to a greater extent. Sometimes staying is about protecting the family unit, as messed up as that may sound to an outsider. Not to mention that other times women are responsible for breaking up other women's families.
I come from a family of two parents and siblings, including cousins and uncles, etc. who enriched our lives. There had never been a divorce in our family until I got divorced! I had tolerated cheating for more than 20 years in my marriage and I had lost count of the women he slept with, some from the church and some from the businesses he interacted with. I had gotten used to the cheating and no longer asked him about it, until he started practicing witchcraft and wanted to sacrifice me for the power to make money! I left him and never looked back. I’m at a stage in my life where I don’t care anymore what people say, especially the church. I love God and chose Him and my children above my marriage and continue to do so because my life depends on Him and not people. Secondly, I am the one who was burning in there, any other person is an armchair critic! I therefore suggest that if you are not the person in that marriage, keep your criticism to yourself because you are speaking on someone’s lived experience and you will fall short and hurt others. Mind your own marriage and ensure that you don’t copy and paste because marriage is an experience between you and your partner and God!

I’m a step mom to my daughter, I’m staying with her and I let her speak with her mother I sent her pictures of her daughter now and then, I’m glad she doesn’t give me headache

Promise is definitely an ideal wife for a typical African man who wants a wife who will never go anywhere, however this woman is here for her own kids only, she's not here for anyone else's child in her marriage, she kept on referring to her stepkids as "it" and "thing"

It's every woman for herself. The other children have their own mothers who are still alive. Her responsibility is to her children too.

So Promise blocked me on TikTok for asking questions.
1, most women don't simply leave after the man has lost money. How the husband treats the wife after he has lost everything, pushed them to leave. Most women want to work it out, but the emotion abuse is just too much.
2. Women make cheating a deal breaker, because they fair deseases. So has she never thought that her health might be compromised.
3. What does she think the second child from the second babymama feel when they see what she said about them
4. Is the second baby or the children outside the marriage not being allowed full access to their siblings. How will all she is airing affect the siblingship.

For those that grew up in happy families with mummy and daddy, they understand the beauty it is for children to be raised by both parents. The problem is something went wrong with today's marriages. Something went seriously wrong. Marriage is now very hard. Very hard but if it thrives its beautiful for the children and the parents as well
very true. there are too many new dynamics that have been introduced that hurt marriages.

In my view, the main dynamics affecting today's marriages are:
- Social media: Giving people an unrealistic view of the lifestyles people are supposed to aspire to.
- 3rd wave feminism: Women being selfish instead of selfless. Women valuing careers/ businesses over family and the next generation. Men's access to opportunities being greatly reduced, meaning that they are unable to provide for their families or do not earn enough to be considered by women who earn more than them.
I always revert to StatsSA data. This is a Black community problem.
Don't get me wrong .... there's nothing wrong with women choosing to focus on careers/ business and being providers, they just need to understand that it comes at a cost. We should be ok with the consequences and not complain about failing marriages then. You can't have it all

So far it seems you believe that women are the main causes of marriages being broken even though we have (some) men cheating, creating outside babies, choosing not to parent at all. And so many other factors. You can’t expect one party to constantly compromise and be long suffering, like you said in your own words. Women are not robots, we have emotions and sooner or later you will get tired of putting up with disrespect. I believe in healthy marriages so much and I don’t believe that marriage should be a constant battle.

I think it’s a language issue. It’s like when she said to the interviewer you are old and my husband is old I think she meant to say you are “adults” . English is not our mother tongue guys.

Promise one thing I fully agree with you is I was in the same church and the word of God Oh My God is another level there. I'm able to understand and learn the Word because of those MOG and I agree with you that they are called but along the way they do mess up and that's why Christians need to keep all MOG and WOG in their prayers because the evil one is cunning and can manipulate anyone who allows the evil to do so... I’d really like a man’s perspective on being cheated on , did they stay, did they forgive,if they stayed was their marriage the same after the incident(s), do men also have consideration of the fact that women don’t have a blue print either of how to be a wife 🤔.
My take is that marriage is ordained by God and it holds both parties equally accountable especially on faithfulness.
Definitely saw a different side ❤
