id love to see a video dedicated to exploring the topic of boost cannibalisation because as it stands i cannot for the life of me wrap my head around the logic of it all :p seems like an important thing to learn since it wouldnt be surprising to see it play a part in basically every track
That's an interesting idea actually. I don't know if it comes up in every track, and most of the time it's not something you have to consciously think about, but yeah... sounds like a good idea for another deep dive video haha
My pb is about 1:53.000 while doing nothing but trying to copy what I could reasonably do in the wrs, I'm sure these easier strategies will help a ton. You've already helped me cut multiple seconds off my pbs in a few different tracks btw, thanks so much!
I am SO glad to hear you talk about how challenging this track is. Thought it was me just not performing well comparative to other tracks. Turns out, CheeseLand is actually Edam hard track!
My moms friend camw over and we were gonna go to the arcade. Her husband and I were waiting so I was like "you wanna play Mario Kart?" He said "Not unless you wanna get destroyed" Little did he know, I was practicing. We got Mario Stadium (I'm new to mk8 racing like this, so it was my only one I have been practicing) Let's just say, I won pretty much every race except for two because of a blue shell
Got a 1:55.155, i grew up with the track on the GBA and was a track i time trialed along with sky garden! It took me a while to warm up to the music but yeh, it's a great track, just annnoying in time trials, some people bag on this track some don't I want to frontrun, having said that, your video has helped out a lot! Thanks so much, what a great series this is!
Just came along your channel! Your videos are amazing! Just improved my PB on Cheeseland with your help to 1:54.6! You saved me 4 seconds on my first try after watching your tutorial! Keep up the good work, i subbed your channel of course! :)
With no Bayesic Training, I was barely under 2 minutes (1:59.860, to be precise). With Level 1 strats, I knocked off nearly 3 full seconds (new PB: 1:57.108) using the same build I used for the "no Bayesic Training" time (medium Mii, Standard Kart, Standard tires, and Super Glider). The "baby strats" for the Level 2 run are, as the expression goes, "beyond my pay grade". Probably because of the "thumb destruction" that comes with so many Mini-Turbos in order to make such a build viable. Also, I'm happy with the improvement I got with Level 1 strats, so I would prefer to preserve what's left of my thumbs (which still didn't fully recover from Grumble Volcano and one or two other courses). 😆
Legal disclaimer: Bayesic cannot be held responsible for any destruction to your things that his videos may cause. For further information please call Nintendo and yell at them for designing such difficult courses (If it wasn’t obvious this was a joke haha)
Cheese is my least favourite food irl and I certainly don’t like cheese land in this game, the bumpy and slidy roads combined with the desert physics is a recipe for disaster
Maybe but I specifically go out of my way to avoid baby builds wherever possible cause I hate snake drifting. The only reason I used baby peach here is cause you don’t have do a lot of counter hop drift type stuff to make it super fast
Love this series! Had a thought... Could when you show the level 1 strategies full run, could you show it against the staff ghost? I'd find that really interesting. No criticism though! This series has helped ALOT!
I’ve always wanted to learn how to race in Wisconsin.
Not gonna lie I was SERIOUSLY debating putting some thing Green Bay related in the thumbnail but didn’t want to get a strike lol
i don't get it? is this a US kind of joke?
@@Pommesarm yes, it’s a Green Bay Packers joke
@@Pommesarm Don't ask us if u don't get it, u gotta know that.

It is very difficult. Haven't even played it much since putting this video together and I still remember how hard it was haha
I always dread playing this track online. Seeing some moves to practice is so useful

Hello sir, I beat every staff ghost except wario’s track and big blue. I need help.
Cheeseland is the most fun track. Love getting bullet and golden mushroom
What that website you see the stats of builds
Only 2 left until golden wheels!

11:42 and…
Great video. Thanks a lot for all your videos. by far the best MK8 training videos.
i'm assuming that unlike most tracks the level 1 run is the lines you should use online
Pretty helpful.
I would like to see more about glider vectoring, even if just talking about it. Ofc i have already seen your vid about that :)
Haha was just about to link you to my motion glider video xD
this is the most advanced beginner tutorial lul
Wow Cheese Land has great music
Wow this level was a beast, thanks for the help
does it matter which variation of link you choose?
Nope they’re the same
Great stuff, great course
YES, THANKS FOR THIS! :D
Continue to love these vids
Thx this helped alot

Love this course, probably my favorite in the game

Can you use any baby?
Baby Peach and Baby Daisy are identical. The other babies are not as good, but I forget exactly why
