I'll leave you a relevant comment as well... That bike does look really good for under £1K. I'm still using my 4 year old Merida XT, which I also got for under £1K. It's only a 10 speed, and the forks aren't half as good as yours (Suntour 100mm), but I love it. I'm thinking about modifying it now, as I've already got my moneys worth with how much I've ridden it. Might get some better forks and definitely need new tyres.
@Dani-El. Sounds awesome. I think once you have most bikes nicely maintained they are a pleasure to ride. The Merida was one of the first bikes I looked at when shopping around. They are nice bikes! Happy riding :)
@@BikeTrekkingwithKarl I got it for a steal actually. It should have been £950 but, because it was the previous year's stock, it was reduced to £500. And then I found a 10% off voucher code. So £450 in total. I've heard good things about VooDoo in the past though, so my next bike might have to be one of these.
