I love CRKT so much because so many of their deigns look so unique from each other. The bombastic and the homefront might be my favorite additions from this show.
LOVE love a lot of what I saw from CRKT just now. As a female, I really like that there are offerings regular and small sizes of the same design. That really helps folks with smaller hands, like mine. When are these hitting the shelves?
My very first knife was a CRKT m16, lost it in a field for a few months and actually found it, i rinsed it off with water, lubed the pivot and still carry it. Thank you for making such high quality knives
I'd love to see a CRKT Homefront in person. Firearms have had easy, no tools required disassembly for maintenance for decades. It's great to finally see this same thought process applied to pocket knives! Thank you, Ken Onion!
They all look good! I won a Homefront from the last year Blade HQ giveaway. It's a really great knife. Good luck to all who participate in the giveaway this time!
Just love the simplicity and the thought behind the "Home Front"! The star is really retro and cool, and it feels like it would fit perfectly as an EDC in my back pocket! Well done!
I love the homefront. Not only is the design freaking amazing, the feild strip technology is really clever. I have the m16 and the minimalist bowie and i gotta say that crkt never ceases to amaze me.
CRKT,I've had the original home front since it's release and love it.... I was hoping to see a new model with premium blade steel. the new version is ruined with historic triple point serrations, the veff serrations or veff flats are soo much more user friendly and sharpen able. Not here just for the give away thought I'd add my criticism. I'd love to "win" another original for my son to use in scouting. thanks blade hq for the great content.
Craig Meise if you look at the website the new homefronts come in HRC 55-57... so pretty much AUS 4 steel. I used to love CRKT, but before I buy another CRKT I wanna see better blade steels like s30v or CTSBD1
Brett Huff I think a lot of people would rather have a better steel then handle material if you had to do a trade off. The less I have to sharpen the happier I am lol
Almost every Knife I own is a crkt Ken Onion and I love them and hard use them all! Never failed me once. All I need now is a Homefront so I have something I can actually take apart without tools! Looks like the perfect edc!
I think the Homefront knife has really done something different that other manufacturers haven't. Every year I see new knives, just different colors, blade shapes, and materials. The Homefront has really done something to mix it up for me.
Not impressed by any of these. Not a single mention of what type of blade steels being used and apparently all CRKTs are made for right handed people. Pass.
I like the design of the home front! CRKT is really knocking it out of the park with these designs, gotta love all the one way pocket clips and 8cr13mov & Aus8 steels!!!
My love of knife collecting started with the old aluminum handled M16 and I've never looked back. The Homefront represents a near pinnacle of design from CRKT. It fits all my criteria for a carry knife. Blade length, blade steel, handle material, clip location and last, but not least, the incredible advantage of being able to take it apart easily after some, inevitable, hard-use. Thanks CRKT, keep up the good work!
I've got 5 CRKT knives, and I love 'em all. They've always been at the front of innovation, and helping custom knife makers get their names and designs out there is something a lot more companies should do. You go CRKT, I hope you keep bringing out awesome, innovative designs in the years to come.
The crossbones and gusset knives are probably my favorite of the bunch. The simplicity of their designs really make them stand out to me. If they made the home front in a more premium steel then I'd see myself wanting one
A lot of great designs coming out of the CRKT camp in 2017. The Homefront looks like a winner and the ease of cleaning and getting getting back to the task at hand is hard to beat.
I've got multiple CRKT knives, and I love them all. CRKT is the best at filling the market with great affordable knives. Thanks for the chance to win that Homefront!
CRKT is my favorite knife brand. They continue to produce knife models that perform very well. Homefront looks stellar and that it would be very practical for my EDC. Thanks for all that you do!
i have been a big ken onion fan for quite a while. i love his work. the ergonomics on his knives are superior, the blade shapes on all of his knives are awesome, and then he has come out with the field strip technology. outstanding!
CRKT thou hath made some of the most beautiful knives in 2016 and now 2017 looks like it has some awesome cutlery like those new homefronts that are swagtasticly made! keep up the good work!
I love the concept of the home front and being able to field strip a folding pocket knife with ease. There have been many times I wish I could have easily done that with my knives.
I really love CRKT. Probably my favorite knife company because I own more knives from them than any other brand. I love the unique designs. Love the stonewashed handles and the carnufex looks sweet. I really need to get one of those homefronts though. I own a K.I.S.S that I carry at work because as a park Ranger any other knives get packed with dirt and sand mud etc and jam up but the homefront looks like a dream come true.
CRKT has become one of my overall favorites they continue to innovate @exceptional value!! High end or low end they really round out the options. This year I gave out CRKT Squids to all the men in my office.
The CRKT Homefront is a welcome design for ease of maintenance and cleaning especially in a day and age where other manufacturers want to void warranties of users that want to take apart their knives. Bravo, CRKT
I have always loved and used crkt knives because of the value and quality. I also believe they are some of the sharpest knives out of the box. I have a very diverse collection of crkt knives but I'll always have room for one more. This knife would be perfect to use at work considering I can take it apart and clean the junk out of it daily. Thanks for the oppertunity to win something I can't afford right now
Some awesome new knives this year!! A CRKT is what i would call my very "first" real EDC knife i ever owned, and i still have it to this day, amazing video great job!!
I saw the home front at cabelas a few weeks ago and thought it was a fantastic idea. I clean my edc knives on a regular basis and I think the home front would be a nice addition to my collection. I think CRKT is doing some great stuff with their knives!
Great job on the field strip with the "HomeFront", love it. I always blast my knives with air and or CLP to maintain them. This will make it so much easier and simpler.
when I first seen the original CRKT homefront and heard about the field strip technology, I immediately fell in love. with the look of knife itself, and blade. and I thought the field strip was original and different. definitely a blade on my list. I have a CRKT minimalist and I fell in love with that thing. I love CRKT now haha!
Awesome knife , gotta love the direction were headed with all the great minds thinking up new innovative ideas , whoever wins the homefront is a lucky person , Good luck everyone !!
The batum interests me somewhat because I like big heavy duty folders, I appreciate the fact that CRKT is at least trying new things with the homefront, a lot of other companies don't come out with new innovations very often.
Wow, that home front really surprised me. I have never seen a knife like that before. Sure beats pulling a tissue through my frames to get the dust, lint, and grit out of my knives. As usual CRKT, great work.
actually i love how CRKT is always working together with awsome designers! mostly i love the designs of lucas burnley! i own a kwaiken as EDC it just did an super awsome job! also i love the CRKT-spuid! a brnly-design that is carryable without any trouble! perfect weight (depends on model) and a short but wide blade! simply a workhorse fo the small tasks!!!
I really like the looks of the Vizzle. So many of the elegant and narrow gentleman's flippers seem to be coming out of Europe right now. It will be nice to see what domestic designers put out in the near future.
i really like the idea of an everyday carry option that is so easy to clean. i work where i have to cut open large pallets and its not always dry so it would be nice to be able to open it all up and dry it all off. great idea crkt! keep it up!
I love Columbia knife and tool products. Been buying there stuff since way back to the first large m16 series of knives. I love the little high risk environment knife with the Teflon coating, and tanto blade. I keep using my large M16 tanto with the gray aluminum handle scales, I've even thrown it into boards, it sticks like a throwing knife, and just never breaks. Great knives guys keep it up. I'm still living in Portland Oregon despite the protesters shananagines!
Homefront is my new desirable knife. I want one of those. CRKT always with beautiful knives. Since I bought the drifter I'm in love with CRKT. A homefront will be welcomed to my knife collection.
I know I missed the giveaway but I haven't been in the market for a new edc in about 11yrs. I got the m-16 crkt in 2006 and its proven itself since day 1. Carried it for two deployments, and never left home without it. Figured it was time to retire it and come looking for a new crkt. That home front looks right up my alley. Thanks for the vid saved me lots of time shopping and reading online.
Very cool design, love it idea of a quick and easy disassemble in the field. Looks like a great backpack, fishing and hunting knife. Thanks for continuing to push designs and never settling.
Awesome job Blade HQ! You really did bring us to SHOT show this year. Every year i watch youtube to get to see what is coming this year and man did CRKT blow me away with the homefront! I have struggled to clean my knives after a long dealing dirt and debris ceasing my knives. Then when i get there is rarely ever a time i get all the grit and grime out of the locks. Really need to set aside some money for that blade!
The giveaway is closed. Thank you to everyone who commented, liked, and showed your support! We will announce the winner on the next episode of Knife Banter, releasing on 1/25/17. Thanks again!
I'm really impressed with the CRKT lineup over the last couple of years! The Amicus has become one of my favorite EDC blades to date, and I'm really excited to get some of these new models in my hands! The Remedy will be a nice companion to my Reate Remedy!
I've always loved CRKT! The titanium Eros is probably my personal favorite design, it's a perfect gentleman's folder! I'd love to get a chance to try out the Homefront, it looks awesome!! Thanks CRKT and Blade HQ, you guys are the best!
I'm really into the Crossbones as an edc and I think I'll pick one up when I see one but wow am I amazed at how easy it was to take that Homefront apart. If I had one it would definitely be going in my camping/hunting kit.
i initially thought the field strip homefront would be more novelty than functional, but the more i see it, the more useful it becomes on camping/hiking trips. great design for sure
Amazing! Some cool blades for sure, but the two the stuck out in my mind are the Crossbones and Homefront. The Crossbones looks sleek and both everyday useful as well as tactical. It looks small enough that you could always have it on your person, even if you're jogging. As for the Homefront, it looks like a game changer in that so many people (non knife people) never clean there blades. This will encourage those people to learn the difference between cruddy and clean blades. I love the feel of a freshly cleaned and greased pivot. This blade would make that happen much more often. I always love knives that appeal to knew knifers and old schoolers alike.
very excited about several of the new products, especially the fixed aux and strafe. I love carrying my obake, but have wanted something just a little more hand-filling. thanks for the shot at a great free knife, always greatly appreciated.
I haven't ever owned a CRKT knife, only because I have always enjoyed Spyderco, Kershaw, and a few others. The home front line though has made me rethink this.
Awesome knives, really like the vingtage look of the Bombastic, def my favorite of the bunch! Thanks for great videos BHQ, great for folks to see new offerings who cannot go to Vegas.
Make sure to stick around until the end. We are picking a giveaway winner next week!
Blade HQ crossbones , vizzel
Blade HQ carnufex
Blade HQ crossbones
Blade HQ Bombastic
Bladehq Homefront
I love CRKT so much because so many of their deigns look so unique from each other. The bombastic and the homefront might be my favorite additions from this show.
LOVE love a lot of what I saw from CRKT just now. As a female, I really like that there are offerings regular and small sizes of the same design. That really helps folks with smaller hands, like mine. When are these hitting the shelves?
Really digging Ken's vintage classic design, super clean! And that ease of disassembly and maintaining on the Homefront is spectacular! Well done!
someone needs to introduce crkt to this new thing called s30v....
My very first knife was a CRKT m16, lost it in a field for a few months and actually found it, i rinsed it off with water, lubed the pivot and still carry it. Thank you for making such high quality knives
Bombastic is pretty sweet and homefront is awesome with the easy disasemble mechanism
trini86jz I was thinking the same thing
I'd love to see a CRKT Homefront in person. Firearms have had easy, no tools required disassembly for maintenance for decades. It's great to finally see this same thought process applied to pocket knives! Thank you, Ken Onion!
They all look good!
I won a Homefront from the last year Blade HQ giveaway. It's a really great knife. Good luck to all who participate in the giveaway this time!
These are such great knives. I carry my CRKT every day, it takes a beating and just keeps on performing. All time favorite knife.
i liked the field striping capability of the homefront
Just love the simplicity and the thought behind the "Home Front"! The star is really retro and cool, and it feels like it would fit perfectly as an EDC in my back pocket! Well done!
I'm not even gonna try to pretend that the drunken snailor is something I do not need in my life. I want one so bad.
I love the homefront. Not only is the design freaking amazing, the feild strip technology is really clever. I have the m16 and the minimalist bowie and i gotta say that crkt never ceases to amaze me.
CRKT,I've had the original home front since it's release and love it.... I was hoping to see a new model with premium blade steel.

veff rules
I agree, I prefer the Veff serrations, too.
it would be awesome to have a s30v option.

idan feldmen but that's not gonna happen soon
I think the Homefront knife has really done something different that other manufacturers haven't. Every year I see new knives, just different colors, blade shapes, and materials. The Homefront has really done something to mix it up for me.

Count me in! I like the Homefront's simplicity. It's like a throwback and a step forward, all at the same time.
I feel like that's with most knives thought like the classic 1911 AKA the simpler the better
But it has a terrible action with a pretty bad steel.
I'm really excited for the new Liong Mah Remedy. I love how elegant the lines are on his knife designs. He's truly an artist.
That Homefront is the most interesting innovation that I have seen from the knife industry in a long time... Really makes me want to get one!
CRKT is my favorite knife brand. They continue to produce knife models that perform very well. Homefront looks stellar and that it would be very practical for my EDC. Thanks for all that you do!

The CRKT Homefront by Ken Onion is probably one of the most innovative designs ever. His design makes knive maintenance super convenient!

Great selection of new knives. Find myself looking to CRKT more and more often. Your innovations, designs, and affordability are a trifecta of value.
CRKT has become one of my overall favorites they continue to innovate @exceptional value!! High end or low end they really round out the options. This year I gave out CRKT Squids to all the men in my office.
Those last two are especially appealing to my eye. CRKT is still my favorite blade company.
Can't wait to add The Homefront to my collection of EDC knives & show it off.!!!
CRKT Rocks it always.
The CRKT Homefront is a welcome design for ease of maintenance and cleaning especially in a day and age where other manufacturers want to void warranties of users that want to take apart their knives.

Great models this year! I'm really liking the new Burnley design and didn't realize how huge that new Voxnaes was going to be! That thing is a beast!
Great job on the field strip with the "HomeFront", love it. I always blast my knives with air and or CLP to maintain them. This will make it so much easier and simpler.
CRKT quickly became one of my favorite knifes w/ my first one. They stand behind their product!
I think the homefront is one of the most unique and useful concepts to come along in many years. right up there with the Emerson wave.
Wow. I love the Homefront knife. The field strip technology is on point. The black tactical is my favorite !!!
Thanks CRKT
when I first seen the original CRKT homefront and heard about the field strip technology, I immediately fell in love. with the look of knife itself, and blade. and I thought the field strip was original and different. definitely a blade on my list. The new home front knives look great. The bombastic is my favorite of what it shown so far.
Love the ability to field strip a knife from a hunting perspective. Fantastic innovation.

Crkt is a really good knife company. I have purchased a few of their knives over the years and have enjoyed every one of them!
I love that Jeff Park designed Crossbones!!! All the new CRKT knives look awesome and definitely would love to get my hands on a few of them!!!

Wow, that home front really surprised me. I have never seen a knife like that before. Sure beats pulling a tissue through my frames to get the dust, lint, and grit out of my knives. As usual CRKT, great work.
I think the homefront series is by far the coolest knife innovation to come since the multitool haha
actually i love how CRKT is always working together with awsome designers! mostly i love the designs of lucas burnley! i own a kwaiken as EDC it just did an super awsome job! also i love the CRKT-spuid! a brnly-design that is carryable without any trouble! perfect weight (depends on model) and a short but wide blade! simply a workhorse fo the small tasks!!!
The Original Homefront is probably in my opinion the most aesthetically pleasing knife crkt has put out in a while. I dig it.
Ya,buddy! Love that homefront knife! As an old rabbit/deer hunter I often wondered how to clean up my folders. Impressive!
I really like the looks of the Vizzle. So many of the elegant and narrow gentleman's flippers seem to be coming out of Europe right now. It will be nice to see what domestic designers put out in the near future.
The Homefront looks like an epic knife and the new line up is looking like I may be broke all year trying to get some new knives. Stellar job Crkt
i really like the idea of an everyday carry option that is so easy to clean. i work where i have to cut open large pallets and its not always dry so it would be nice to be able to open it all up and dry it all off. great idea crkt! keep it up!

love crkt. their designs always blow me away
Man, if that Homefront was the standard handles, tanto, stonewashed and no serations. That'd be KING. Great vid CRKT and BHQ!!!
this is the first year I am more excited for crkt knives than any other brand!! way to bring to the heat
Great knife...its a wonderful feature to have when in the bush. The ability to clean your blade make all the difference.
Very cool design, love it idea of a quick and easy disassemble in the field. Looks like a great backpack, fishing and hunting knife. Thanks for continuing to push designs and never settling.
The homefront knives look awesome! A must have in everyone's collection.
I absolutely love the Carnufex. I would use that a lot in the field.
I'm super stoked for all of the Vox designs. What a time to be alive!
Awesome job Blade HQ! You really did bring us to SHOT show this year. Every year i watch youtube to get to see what is coming this year and man did CRKT blow me away with the homefront! Really really love what vox has been doing with CRKT. Also proud of CRKT for not using tacky spring assists!
The giveaway is closed. Thank you to everyone who commented, liked, and showed your support! We will announce the winner on the next episode of Knife Banter, releasing on 1/25/17. Thanks again!
Blade HQ What a treat! That was basically click bait.

I'm really impressed with the CRKT lineup over the last couple of years! The Amicus has become one of my favorite EDC blades to date, and I'm really excited to get some of these new models in my hands! The Remedy will be a nice companion to my Reate Remedy!
CRKT you are making some of the best EDC knives now. Awesome job!
I've always loved CRKT! The titanium Eros is probably my personal favorite design, it's a perfect gentleman's folder! I'd love to get a chance to try out the Homefront, it looks awesome!! Thanks CRKT and Blade HQ, you guys are the best!
The field strip technology is awesome! It is a brilliant idea!
Awesome knives, I love the Gusset and the Homefront! Count me in on the GAW!
YES!! the perfect folder for the outdoors!! gotta get myself a homefront.
I've just discovered how much I love crkt after buying the entire amicus series. I'd love to add to the collection with a homefront
I haven't ever owned a CRKT knife, only because I have always enjoyed Spyderco, Kershaw, and a few others. The home front line though has made me rethink this.
The new Ikoma design looks great. I do love the homefront concept.
The homefront is definitely taking home the awards right up front! I'd love one especially if it was the black EDC version.
Awesome knives, really like the vingtage look of the Bombastic, def my favorite of the bunch! Thanks for great videos BHQ, great for folks to see new offerings who cannot go to Vegas.
The easy disassemble feature is really nice. I take apart my knives to clean them all the time.
In it to win it. Thanks BladeHQ for taking me to the show from the comfort of home.
I really like the new Ikoma design. Also that homefront looks super easy to maintain
