to bad NY regs are crap. for those that dont know we can only keep 28-31 inches. i caught 17 bass this year and not one of them was in the slot. fluke was great this year best day out caught 38 with all 4 keepers over 21 inches. fluke fishing rapid declines after july 4th weekend. the boats kick up alot of crap in the water then the temps start to rise fast.
Why are you moving from that spot my friend your catching fish there. So what if sand is mixed in with the soup!

It's so big and beautiful. Nice fish!
I was out on that jetty last night, had the whole strip to myself, which was a surprise. Think the winds kept guys away. Wound up not throwing from the rocks as the surf was pounding hard and I didn’t want to risk a mishap landing a fish by myself in those conditions. Fished out a bit on the beach instead and hooked up.
