When I lived in Tom's River NJ. We would fish for stripers on the river, atop a cliff with glass shrimp, on a bobber rig. Best fishing I've ever experienced.
Wonderful fishing! If you don’t mind please let me know, what day did you fish? I’m analyzing what tide level (high or low) and what time(morning or day or evening) are good for canal’s striper fishing.
Can’t wait to get over Boston way. I will be other from the uk in October November. Is this a time I can possibly go tight on a striper? 😊 any info is appreciated
I fished the canal a few times with no luck, there are there are they not there or usually they are across the canal on the other side lol! Nice fish court! What time of the day was it and what tide was it? I love your waist lure and scale holder, what is it?
@@tidalquestAwesome, where did you buy the rod? Looks light and easy to handle. I plan to go to the canal same area where you fish on 6/10/23 early Saturday morning. Maybe meet you there😄
I like to fish for stripers and I actually live relatively close to the canal but man, I couldn’t do this. Being surrounded by so many people, some of whom will be great while others have zero etiquette…I just can’t do it. I think it’s the same reason I fish for trout in more remote brooks, etc…I’ve tried the swift river above route 9 a few times and you’re constantly getting high holed by guys…the last time I went, some dude actually started throwing to the same rising fish as me. I almost went physically blind…this was on a TUESDAY. I just need my solitude sometimes, man…
Gotta love canal striper fishing! I was just there in July. Hopefully, going back in October!
We ahhre hittin tha stripas this mawning. Latah, we'll awl head out to tha Hawbah fuh some chowda. Get in tha cahh! Lets go!

some monsters righ there! I assume if it wasn't so tight you could've adjusted your drag more to avoid snap city
Great video. That last one was huge. Thanks for bringing us along. Continued good luck!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
any tips for the canal? When should I come? Where’s the best spot?
I was on the east side Sunday morning/afternoon and nothing
Thanks for the update!
Can’t wait to get over Boston way. I will be other from the uk in October November. Is this a time I can possibly go tight on a striper? 😊 any info is appreciated
I’ve never fished Cape Cod in the fall to be honest. October/November I stick to New Jersey beaches and occasionally head out to Long Island.
Catch n release, must be an good way to exercise.
Awesome video! Was that morning?
late afternoon
Is scup fish in there?
Will the fish still be around October I’m coming in October for a visit. Thank
Where's this nice fishing spot located my friend?
Epic catches. Switch out your boga grips for fish grips though, bogas can tear their mouth make it difficult for released fish to feed
Will consider it.. thanks!
👍👍👌👍👌
What recreation area is this? I’ve never been I see sandwgich, Bourne, and some others
Is it only catch n release. Nice fish
Thanks! You can keep one fish per day 28-31” I believe.

@@tidalquestAwesome, where did you buy the rod? Looks light and easy to handle. I plan to go to the canal same area where you fish on 6/10/23 early Saturday morning. Maybe meet you there😄
I got it at Red Top Sporting goods in Bourne, MA. Good luck on the canal!

In this video there are a bunch of people fishing, there's not an angler among them.
Nice strippers, what a good day for fishing, your video encouraged me to go fishing and relax thanks, What's your setup for fishing?
Glad you enjoyed the video and good luck out there. I added a list of the fishing gear used to the video description.

Restore your rivers and wetlands, thus enjoy the bounty of the land and sea...
In your description for "Gear used", your left out the actual plugs you were using. Kinda key pieces of info to leave out. Was that on purpose?
My bad. I caught those fish with the Tactical Anglers Sea Pencil and the Berkley Magic Swimmer 190g.
😅😅😅
Hey brother, I'm headed to Boston in July, want to get together for a collaboration video?
