- If your Dodge RAM 1500’s factory rake isn’t doing much for your truck’s off-road-ready style, give it some extra lift by installing Rough Country’s 2-Inch Front Leveling Kit. Like what this product implies, it’ll raise the front end of your truck by 2 inches. This results in giving the truck a more balanced and aggressive stance. This leveling kit also allows you to install larger and wider tires, completing your truck’s off-road-ready build.
The strut pre-load spacers that are in this kit are constructed out of premium quality steel. They’re also covered in a protective, black powder coat, making them highly resistant to corrosion. As a result, the spacers have the strength to carry your truck’s weight and last you a good long time.
To ensure that this 2-inch front leveling kit is properly installed, it’s in your best interest to let a qualified mechanic handle the installation. The entire procedure will take 1-3 hours to complete.
This front leveling kit is covered by Rough Country’s lifetime replacement warranty. For more information, please visit the manufacturer’s website. amtrucks.at/2Q...

Question. So by adding the 2 inch spacer will that change/affect ride quality or is in considered safe and not change much?? Thanx really thinking of doing this!!
I was going to install the RC spacers but now I'm not sure. What sturts work for a v6 rwd 2021 ram 1500?i was told the RC n3 struts are not compatible with v6 models? Which ones are? Thanks
On what planet does it take 3 hours to install 2 pre-load spacers?
Getting ready to do this on a 2024 Ram Big Horn. Just doing a Motofab, but most of the other videos I have seen people are taking off the brakes, axle nuts, etc... You make it look pretty easy compared to them. Is it just the Rough Country you can get away without removing the brakes or any Ram 4x4? Thanks...
What running boards are those?
If you have a leveling kit and then add a lift kit will it still stay level or do you do the 6 inch lifted strut kit and then add 2" spacer front and 2" spacer rear to stay level
Is this better than the Motofab type spacer?
I ask because this kit extends the strut shaft by permanently. Are the OEM struts fine?
Will these top out with stock struts ? And can you use your stock struts
"We don't want to hit the upper control arm"
*smacks upper control arm with a hammer*
But seriously, super helpful video! Thanks!
Hey I have a 2019 rebel do you guys don’t make them for the rebel just asking
The Rebel already has a 1” lift. I wouldn’t install a spring preload leveling kit to a Rebel since the lift comes from the springs. I would add a 2” top hat spacer. But also remember it will still keep the 1” lift so really you will have 3” of lift. You will also need a set of UCAs to compensate for the angle on the ball joints.
For the 2023 Ram bighorn back country, will need upper control arm ?
nice tutorial video, putting this kit can alter warranty?
Please do a leveling video for a 19+ Ram 1500 with stock air suspension.
Is there a difference in spring locations between this spacer and the ones that mount on top of the strut? I would think there is some sort of difference in spring alignment??
what size tire and wheels are those in the last picture with the aftermarket black wheels. TKS
Are these black rhinos are 18s or 20s?
So I live in michigan and go to the sand dunes and play around will this spacer be hard on my suspension travel on the dunes?
If you plan on doing a good bit of driving on the dunes and off-roading, it may be better to look into a leveling kit with a full replacement coilover instead of just these spacers. That way you'll get better performance when pushing your suspension in the sand. @@AmericanTrucksRam thank you for responding.. so the regular spacers are more just for pavement driving then?
Why won't this fit 2wd???? I checked fitment on your linked website and claimed it won't fit 2020 Ram 1500 rwd
The 4WD trucks have a slightly different suspension setup than RWD. You should be able to find RC kits for 2WD/RWD models though! -Adam
@@AmericanTrucksRam what about upper control arms? Does this affect the angle and life of the UPA?
How about air rid suspension? compatible?
This is not compatible with air-ride suspension. -Zach
booooooo spacers booooooo
Legit question... if you’re not offroading, is there ANY tangible benefit to larger size tires? Other than looking cool. Wouldn’t they throw off your speedometer ?
You can have your spedo adjusted for the tire size
Will this spacer affect the turning radius and control arm articulation
obviously
Turning radius, not enough to notice. Articulation, no since a preload spacer does not make the strut any longer. Only preloads the spring. A spacer on top of strut would affect articulation
Will this require a wheel alignment?
We always recommend a suspension alignment after installing lift kits or leveling kits. -Zach
Never order from this company they sent the wrong lift kit two times took me 2 months to get them and had to return both!
How does it affect the upper ball joints? Does it keep the ball joint aligned or do you recommend an aftermarket upper control arm? If you remember correctly, most of these leveling kits made the upper ball joints come lose from the OEM upper control arms.
Generally, the bigger the leveling/lift kit the more at risk your upper control arms are. The 2" kit here is pretty mild, so it's not very detrimental to your UCA and ball joints, but they are (by definition) at a different angle than stock. If you're expecting your front suspension to max downward travel more often, then it's a good idea to upgrade. If not, it's unlikely that you'll have dislodging issues with your ball joints with a 2" kit. Hope this helps! -Adam
