I saw them live in Barcelona first time in 1987 when they published "Music for the Masses" ... what a great album. Been listening to them since 1981 with Speak and Spell, when New Wave was in its prime... great band!
Dave Gahan is a master crowd commander when he's on stage, and to this day, they're still amazing live. Just saw them earlier this year in Germany. Incredible energy from the band and the audience. Definitely worth diving into this rabbit hole and revisit all their singles and major hits.
They are amazing live, but I wish you were doing the studio versions so you could really experience and hear the production and not having to deal with crowd noise.
I really like some of the early singles. "Get the Balance Right", "Master and Servant", "Never Let Me Down Again", "See You", "Leave in Silence", "Everything Counts".
One of my favorite groups which deal in electronic rock, synth-pop and alternative rock music. They are an English group that always puts on great live shows with massive audiences like their concerts in Berlin doing my favorite Depeche Mode song, "ENJOY THE MUSIC"
Everything Counts is one of my favorites. Their earlier stuff is more industrial. Martin Gore is the main songwriter and sing great harmony with Dave Gahan. Dave is a baritone and Martin can sing the higher notes. Blasphemous Rumors is a heart breaker.
He has great moves. Ty for reaction! Very sensual. Depeche Mode on the dance floor was/is great fun. Yeah, a Hutchence vibration. Slightly different frequency, but "soft and slippery."
This track is on the same album as Enjoy the Silence and Personal Jesus (this is where "reach out touch faith" is from) -Violator released in 1990. They have been going since early 80's and the sound has evolved over time, some tracks to check out are Blasphemous Rumours, Walking in My Shoes, Home, A Pain that I'm Used to, Leave in Silence, Everything Counts, Barrel of a Gun, I feel You
DM are one of my favorites, and have influenced many many artists They have an incredible discography, I hope you'll explore more from them. I might suggest Halo, (it's from the same album, Violator), Never Let Me Down Again (Spit Mix), StrangeLove (Blind Mix), Route 66 (Beatmasters Mix), Get The Balance Right (Combination Mix), Personal Jesus, Barrel of a Gun, and my favorite, It's No Good (album, not video, the video cuts the music up and is distracting). That can get you started, such a great band!
They’re one of those bands we liked but shouldn’t have. Their name, new wave, electronic, we didn’t listen to that stuff. It wasn’t rock and roll. They’re unique. I still listen to Violator occasionally.
Bit disappointed you reacted the live version. This is off their album Violator and it's one of the best mixed albums I've ever heard - it's next level good and while I often love live performances, definitely not any of the Violator album songs. Have a listen to the album in your own time, it's well worth it!
Tori Amos covered Enjoy The Silence ❤ On the same album as her Eminem cover....she also does Raining Blood by Slayer....that would be so awesome if you reacted to that one!!!

Dave Gahan is so charismatic. Depeche Mode is one of my all time favourite bands, saw them live twice on their last tour

If you’re going to go back and react to “enjoy the silence” live in Berlin is the way to go. AMAZING!!!
want to say the same, thx

I totally agree!
I really like some of the early singles. "Get the Balance Right", "Master and Servant", "Never Let Me Down Again", "See You", "Leave in Silence", "Everything Counts".
Thanks for the recommendations! Love their sound.
Absolutely love this song 🎵
Great band, great song on a great album ❤❤❤❤

Really love their sound. I have recorded a few more reactions. Some are blocked, but hope to post them soon.
Thanks for watching.
Depeche Mode is a deep, deep well to dive into.

Depeche Mode are an English band there top songs to hit the Billboards are "Personal Jesus" and "Enjoy The Silence"
If you want more Depeche Mode music I recommend you the Devotional Tour. It has a fantastic live recording and very good songs!! 👍💯🙂
Yes Devotional tour! Dave is as high as a kite😂

I reacted to the first 2 you mentioned, but they are currently blocked. Hope that gets resolved. Thanks so much for watching and the recommendations.
So many hits from them...catch up...lol
2001 Paris live. never let me down, enjoy the silence

Great song! There is a very good kind of rock cover by terry hoax. Heard this in the mid 90ties so often! Had to be played at every Party 🎉!
Such a great song! Love their sound. Thanks for watching.
Ugh - live. Their studio stuff is so much better.
❤❤❤

Hope i can get to those at some point as well. Definitely interested in her take on Enjoy the Silence.
Personal Jesus is a great song by them 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I reacted to it, but its currently blocked along with some others.
@SaeedReacts. Ahh. Bummer
Reach Out Touch Faith.
You ain’t seen nothing yet. Keep going…
Will do! I have a few recorded, but they are blocked at the moment.
Reach out and touch faith is a line from Persnal Jesus, not Enjoy the silence
I have since discovered this in a reaction i did to those songs. They are currently blocked, hope it gets resolved.
