Found this Video yet in my Lunch Break. Got a tl1 this morning and i'm worried about to Set the g54. Will try this workaround asap. Thanks for Sharing.
Thanks, I watched lots of your tutorial when I was starting to learn manual programming. The first 'rub' that you made, I call it Z0.02,so when I send it home to set the work offset and run the facing program at Z0, it will cut 0.02 off the face of the part, works the same way.
Absolutely correct. It may be easier for the beginners to understand when making the .020" move. Once you get comfortable with the plus and minus shifts then that is an easier method.
I guess im asking randomly but does anybody know a tool to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot the account password. I love any assistance you can give me.
@Zakai Onyx Thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I greatly appreciate your work. I feel this video is missing some critical details that can lead to machine crashes. When using Z work offsets (G54) for lathe operations, you create a system where the tool length offsets (TLOs) can become either positive or negative values, depending on your approach. That said, how are you picking up your TLOs after setting your G54? Are the TLOs positive or negative values? Are you using a presetter, the tip of the part, etc? Thank you.
Hi Tom, I just got a 2002 Haas SL20 and I never used before a CNC Lathe, I like know If you can help me with step by step how to write a manual program in the control. Thank you Wagner
hello sir, i have a kingston machine type CL38C. i have a problem with the alarm code "ex 1034 2nd turred not inposition" what is the solution ,, i expect your answer

It is very useful for me, I will start work in role of CNC programmer on the upcoming, after I’m not continue for 4 years.

@Zakai Onyx it did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much, you really help me out :D

Thanks for sharing! How to set Z for tool 2, tool 3...?
Very helpful. Thank you!

cool video
Very well explained
Is it required to put a number on the geometry page under radius and tip lines ?
No it is not. But if you use a G42 in your code it will look for values in those fieldd
Fields*
That's awesome I work on the optical industries, the idea is almost similar but with different materials.
How to set tool offset for X & Z on HAAS lathe?
Please Make a video of tool offset
It is not necessary to take the offset X work measure ..? Over time I operated a haas lathe but I don't remember ..!
It stays zero as long as you program from center of your part
If you swap inserts or tools yes
Great video I learned a lot keep it up!!

Thanks Isaac. I appreciate the feedback.
