Comparing the Auckland & Wellington Commuter Trains (HD)

An independent review / comparison of the last two commuter rail networks in New Zealand.
Both are electrified with overhead wires, but aside from that they haven't got very much in common. For starters, Auckland uses CAF-built EMUs on 25kv AC while Wellington uses 1700 volt DC with trains built by Hyundai-Rotem.
