    I actually liked the video before watching, because I was so happy to see a new MYOG video from you and -on top-, one about “building a backpack”. Great work!
    Excited to see more from you.

    That was a nice make and I enjoyed the cheering you added at the end. I know when I’ve made my gear and I’m proud of what I made I have my own inner cheer going on. Nothing wrong with a little self praise for things you make. I didn’t think it was arrogant and took it for what it was, funny.

    Could you do a review of how the backpack looks after time? Threads, sewing, does everything hold as it should? Is there anything about it that you would change? It looks pretty good, but I might go for double stitching (although I don't have experience with such materials). Great video, thanks for the tutorial.

    Great Job. Pack looks rad. One thing, I've never seen a pack with uncoated fabric for the side pockets which is an interesting choice. How does that uncoated cordura work under the rain? Would you do the same choice again?

    • @zipworks

      It works much like a mesh, water can come in and out. I like that it doesn’t pool water and the hand-feel is nicer than a coated fabric in my opinion. Would use again!

    • @zipworks

    Just a question, doesn't the wonder tape make the elastic pouch on the straps non-elastic when it's glued on? Or do you how do you remove it after you've sewn it on, just rip it when stretching?
    Same with the elastic on the back panel?

    • @zipworks

      @@zipworks Do you just wash the area with tape with hot water before you sew it to the rest of the bag?

    • @zipworks
      @zipworks  3 роки тому +1

      If anything, I'll dab the area with some water after the whole project is done. Usually I forget to do that at all and just leave in there.. The tape itself is weak and fragile, it will stretch and tear if you pull on it just a tiny bit.

  • @trailfleamlangdon2260
