Did you use regular chili flakes for your kimchi? It's usually made with korean chili flakes and I think the flavors are vastly different. I think you would like the flavor of the korean chili flakes, so maybe see if you can get some to try!

Tru Earth is SUCH an awesome sponsor! I wish my mum would be persuadable to such alternatives but for now, we stick to 10l containers of a planet-friendly detergent for super sensitive skin (since my sister has egzema) and I think it is good enough of a switch :)

If you can find it I highly suggest using gochugaru for the kimchi. Red pepper flakes isn't going to give it that kimchi flavor. Also cold water not hot water over the cabbage!

Yes! I unfortunately couldn’t find any Korean spicy for my kimchi so I winged it with my kimchi this time! However I’m gunna order some online and try again soon💛 and yes, I just used hot water to dissolve the salt and allowed it to cook before pouring over:)

It's really weird that you keep bringing up being dyslexic with pronunciations when you can literally just... Google how to pronounce something & have someone on UA-cam tell you? Like? Such a weird choice!! I'd definitely recommend actually looking things up instead of winging it incorrectly so often that people point it out & make you self-conscious.
