Hey guys I just wanted to thank everyones support on this video as it seems it getting a ton of love. More videos coming soon along with a few exciting things for my e46.
The setup I have is a 2-1 merge into 3 inch pipe run to the back of the car with a magnaflow muffler linked below.

Exactement le même montage que moi sur ton échappement 👌 sauf que j'ai mis un tube de 80mm de diamètre en inox à la place d'un silencieux sport, au lieu d'une double sortie 😉 on récupère un peu de couplé perdu du fait de la suppression du silencieux d'origine 👍 j'ai fait quelques chicanes maison pour freiner "légèrement" les gazs d'échappement et j'ai encore récupérer un peu de couple 😃

How do you think about this being a first car for a 17 year old? Manual of course but I would like to learn manual in this; downside is I live in NYC but fam is trying to move upstate or to the rurals!
honestly, The e46 chasis is a fantastic car for a new driver that wants to enter the car community and learn more about driving and working on cars. It a super fun, lightweight, rwd drive chasis that isnt super powerful. You truly get to use the 100% of the car as you get more comfortable with it. I also found it opens the doors to learning about working on cars and fixing your own car, building new friendships, and just outright having fun everytime you get in that driver seat. Its also awesome that they are relatively cheap and accessible which makes it easier for a younger person to get into the euro car community. Best of luck with your search i hope that helps.
Hey man, I know this video is old now, I was just wondering - I saw u building the exhaust and it was painted black. Is that just paint or is it one of those acoustic sprays? I really love how your car sounds, most m54s sound like fkin Honda Civics when people touch the exhaust
It was just black spray paint to protect from rust, I don’t even have the exhaust setup anymore. I built a whole new one. Check out my Instagram for sound clips

barely any drone, i drove 3000+ miles from MA to nv and it was totally fine never bothered me.
hey man, what size set up are you running front and rear…i just got an e46 but have no clue where to start with fitment that won’t cause any bad rubbing
running a square setup 18x9 +28mm offset with 255/35r18 continental extreme contact sports.
What mufflers and such did you use? And are you running catless headers? I keep looking for exhaust clips and everything is way too raspy, but this is literally perfect
I have another video from a little while back when i first installed it but basically what i have is stock headers (for now) and i did a 2-1 converstion from headers to 3 inch single pipe back to a 3 inch center inlet and outlet magnflow muffler.

@@E46miley we gonna get the catless header video soon? Was thinking of doing this myself. Headers and a muffler delete is cooler than stuck, but sounds pretty meh.
@@skylergabriele6445 oh for sure lots of cool things coming really soon, im in the process of getting all the bits and pieces to do the headers and its gunna sound much more agressive💯. And car will be wrapped a new color in a couple of weeks already got my wrap in:)
any headers? and no mufflers from the cats and back except for the magnaflow?
this setup had stock headers to a 2-1 y pipe and then 3inch pipe from there to the back with a magnflow single in/single out muffler

It’s a 2002 bmw 330ci
Thninking of getting one in a couple years when I finish education and get a job. 19 currently. How expensive is it to insure and run? I’ve heard some say it’s a money pit etc. I haven’t owned a car but have a license since 17 and familiar with driving. I’m in the U.K. so costs may differ but just trying to get an idea of costs. If you don’t mind me asking, what do you do for a living and is this car affordable?
I think the main thing you must keep in mind when searching for one of these cars is that without a doubt the car will need some work. I have personally put an extensive amount of work, time, and money into mine but that's because in some way I wanted to restore it because I plan to keep it for my life. But besides that, they are great cars and with proper maintenance, they will last forever. It's not that bad insurance. I do save a substantial amount of money doing all the work on the car myself so keep that in mind because labor is expensive. but I am 20 I work a retail job, in the process of building an Auto Detailing Business, and I go to school full time. I think they can be expensive but if you find a clean one that was taken care of it won't let you down.
e46 is only affordable for US people trust me. I live in germany and even the costs of my 318ci are killing me

i drove this car 3000 miles with this setup i dont feel there is any drone. it has a good note to it but isnt too loud if your looking for aomething thats good but not annoying
how much did the shop charge to fab the exhaust?
including the muffler i paid 500 but they had to repair a minor issue that i showed in my older video
