@@jchiasson89 so when i did this repair i mistakenly ordered the wrong paint bec the paint code was very similar. however i did another repair and ordered the right one and the color was very very close. I also highly reccomend using the spray max 2k clear coat which u need a respirator for

took me about 4hrs

this setup had stock headers to a 2-1 y pipe and then 3inch pipe from there to the back with a magnflow single in/single out muffler

engine was supported with a engine support bar from harbor freight

running a square setup 18x9 +28mm offset with 255/35r18 continental extreme contact sports.

I think the main thing you must keep in mind when searching for one of these cars is that without a doubt the car will need some work. I have personally put an extensive amount of work, time, and money into mine but that's because in some way I wanted to restore it because I plan to keep it for my life. But besides that, they are great cars and with proper maintenance, they will last forever. It's not that bad insurance. I do save a substantial amount of money doing all the work on the car myself so keep that in mind because labor is expensive. but I am 20 I work a retail job, in the process of building an Auto Detailing Business, and I go to school full time. I think they can be expensive but if you find a clean one that was taken care of it won't let you down.

e46 is only affordable for US people trust me. I live in germany and even the costs of my 318ci are killing me

honestly, The e46 chasis is a fantastic car for a new driver that wants to enter the car community and learn more about driving and working on cars. It a super fun, lightweight, rwd drive chasis that isnt super powerful. You truly get to use the 100% of the car as you get more comfortable with it. I also found it opens the doors to learning about working on cars and fixing your own car, building new friendships, and just outright having fun everytime you get in that driver seat. Its also awesome that they are relatively cheap and accessible which makes it easier for a younger person to get into the euro car community. Best of luck with your search i hope that helps.

deff recommend the 330 i love this car and i dont tbink ill ever sell it. insurance isnt bad depending on where you live. just find a good one that was well taken care of, take care of it yourself and it will take car of you. Ive had my for 3 years and 40k miles later she still runs great. mind you the car now has 240k on it.

@@E46miley you u right, 330ci coupes at least a good clean one are getting harder and harder to find, I bought my 330ci zhp back in 2016, best decision i ever made. general maintenance is key tho, and don't go to stealer ships or dodgy tune up shops for anything, learn to fix this car and it most deff will take car of you!!!!

@@ZAKU-GD I have a 325i I picked up for 2k in end of 2019 after I wreked my explorer. Best car ive owned even thought the b25 blew. But I now am rebuilding a b30 to drop into it. B30 is in beautiful shape for having 170kish miles

the purpose of the repair was to make it so it doesnt get worse anymore. I no longer live on in the north east so i wanted to perserve the body as much as possible till im ready to do a full blown body restoration. I said in the video this repair was simply a temporary fix

hahahah not everything was completely necessary, i chose to do a good overhaul of a lot of this car that i wasnt really sure what had been done to it. My goal is to keep this car for a long time so thats why i did a lot of things i did.

i drove this car 3000 miles with this setup i dont feel there is any drone. it has a good note to it but isnt too loud if your looking for aomething thats good but not annoying

it is a 4inch black tip with a beveled edge it was one they had at the shop i went to
