A lot of great tips, thank you! A small warning though is that the wrappers for Valhalla for example can create some issues if you open up your projects on another computer or you move projects to a new computer, because it fails silently. Usually you get a notification that plugins are missing if they are, but with the wrapper it goes unnoticed. Learned this the hard way, and it created a lot of work making sure everything is in working order.
Might be an option to add to the wrapped to check if the plug-in is available and show some warning if it isn’t. No m4l experience here but in any programming environment I do know it’s best practice to check anything outside of the ‘happy flow’ and handle the failed checks.
I did this too but I have to update it. My EQ8 has all the bands on by default and it's unnecessary CPU hog when I have a lot of tracks. I need to update my default to have the device but turn off the bands.
Did you know that you can map any encoder to the clip gain? It should be an endless encoder because you don't want to have to wait for pick up or have value jumps, i use my DJTT Twister, simply select an audio clip and midi map the clip gain slider and choose the correct mode (in my case it is "Relative (lin. BinOffset)" ) After you did that it works on any currently selected audio clip, it isn't bound to that specific clip you used to map the encoder. Save the project as default and you never have to do it again, works flawlessly.
Insane tips, thanks a lot I will definitely use it on next Ableton creation if I will not get this Christmas this new synthesiser for working better in collaboration with future projects and more of it 👨💻
Cool stuff, I really dig the wrapped plugins ❤ Any reason why you don’t just put a utility on the vocal channel and automate the gain in the specific sections ?
Visual representation is my guess, but you could also just crop parts of the samples you want to edit and work with the built in faders imo, at least for adjustments like this example.
All LUFS meters should have an auto gain to aim for a target. Only Ozono maximizer do that and it is still not that good cause it listens only few seconds.
Sorry to say, but this was the first video from this channel, that was disappointing. It's only my personal opinion and of course I only write this comment as a feedback, not to blame or hurt someone. But first these PlugIns aren't that groundbreaking and in this video there are a several things told and shown, some people would not agree I think. And working on dynamics of a recording, doing cuts and drawing crossfades across the waveforms...I would not recommend doing that :-) But no problem, this channel is very good and one of those I love the most!
@@EDMTipsI disagree I think this was brilliant. Something different. Liked it so much I've just had to scrawl through my history to find it again. I had absolutely no idea these things wer even possible. Thanks again Will.
@@EDMTips Nothing was missing. For my personal workflow with Ableton I found those tools not that exciting. And I also found the example with the synth not that good. You can go much more crazy with a bunch of max for life plugs in a chain and it can sound much better.BUT like I mentioned before: It's only my opinion and I am used to better content on this channel, that's all I wanted to leave as a comment. Guys like me maybel try to find inspiration on UA-cam. I am audio engineer since 2004 and how music works, tonality, mixing, workflow, tools and so on isn't what everybody is looking for ;-) It's more interesting to see you working on smoke chords, baselines and how you process these elements. I like these videos a lot. Hope ii could clear it up for you.

I know right
Ex Pro Tools user here! I’m making the jump to ableton. This channel has been super helpful!
Thanks for subscribing and I hope you continue to enjoy the content! 🙌🏻

Harika bilgiler paylaştın Mert, kullanışlı ve işimi kolaylaştıracak çok şey öğrendim, teşekkürler.
clip gain looks really good and sound collections love really that plugs Granulator 2 is really cool !
Cheers, Andrea!
I’ve made my Audio and MIDI tracks default with EQ 8 and Comp because it helps me mixing faster and keeps me going for longer 🔥
Nice tip, love it! 🙌🏻
@@EDMTips Really saves so much time and thanks for your work! It has helped me improve alot 🫶

Stoked to hear that! 🙂

Gonna try this!
Great tip, thank you for sharing! 🙌🏻
This is actually incredible, thank you mate.
You're welcome, glad you liked it! :)
Wizards of Ableton is a good name for a band 😆
Second that! 🧙♀️🎹
I'm always struggling with the many plugin windows, wrapper should be a standard feature of Ableton. You can invite Mert anytime!

What a treat! Wich synthesizer are you getting?
Shortcut Buddy, i bought it directly after i saw that video 😂
Good choice!
Especially love tip 1, well done.
Cheers, James, really glad you liked it! Hope you'll use this one too :)
Tessekürler ederim, Mert!

Plugin Wrappers 🤯
Great plugins. Though can't we solve the last one with a simple compressor?
Nice trick to use granunalsynth and abl limiter at the same video. Limiter baddness and crakliness is covered bu granular :DDD

Thanks for sharing!
Does Ableton not have a clip gain tool in its general edit tool? You need a special plugin for that?
With the wrappers can you right click on a parameter and chose ‘add automation’ like you would an Ableton device?
I’m a wizard with my music timestamps.
Where do ye find clip gain, I can’t find it in max for live, a can’t even find a search engine in abletons website ?
Can you provide links?
Where are the link 😢!

We are want links!!!
Don't you love how they're ALL not free now?!
I don't but I guess the developers need to make money too...
@@EDMTips I agree for sure, but maybe they should've left a "not so full version", like youlean. I think this would also be good for sales.
What is LUFS?
Loudness Units relative to Full Scale
Sorry, say that again..Do i have to download these plugin wrappers versions for this to work?
Τhe video is not very informative on this topic...
No, you just need the normal soundtoys plug-in versions, plus the wrapper max for live device
Similar to others I cannot find shortcut buddy, not even on abletons pack list help someone please, is this a 3rd party item thanks
Never mind I found it lol Noir Labs and swiss army is also on their site :)
I will add the links to those!
Loooooioing way not short will make u the God like me
😁
You should go ahead....

I wish I did. It's been raining pretty heavily recently :)
Cool tips! But please improve your pronunciation. Sometimes it’s almost impossible to understand what you are saying. God bless ya.
Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it!
