My former flight instructor is a second officer for the 787’s, so I reckon it would be cool to work alongside her. I don’t have family in Aviation, but I reckon if I became a pilot they’d be proud.
How is that legal? I thought Captain and FO are supposed to know each other as little as possible, and be on equal levels for as little of a cabin gradient as possible. I can't, for the love of God, imagine this would be legal in Europe.
There have been many instances of father-son flight deck crews around the world. SkyWest in the USA even had a mother-daughter flight deck crew operate together recently. Definitely nothing in the aviation regulations that disallow this.
Jetstar I love you sooo much and you are my favourite airline. Go Jetstar ⭐️
That's pretty cool, great video and insight. Well done Jetstar 👏

Happens in Europe too, here's one example of a father-son duo on a DAK flight from Seattle to Amsterdam: ua-cam.com/video/5qXtIjOhfOg/v-deo.html
