Always impressed with our Aussie pilots and ATC. Clear and calm. Professionals at work.
This is the gold standard of professionalism and correct radio procedures.
Enjoyed this more because ATC and pilot were speaking at a speed I can comprehend - usually have to rely on the captions!
Australia has Asian and non-native speakers as pilots a lot. Nobody is helped with a fast, not understandable speaking ATC.
They're so polite and happy with the word "happy." Lovely!
“Are you happy to” in Australian English means, “do you consent to”
Compare those first few radio calls to our American colleagues. Clear professional comms. Good use of ‘Standby’. Clear comms of the issue and impact.
Thanks for keeping it rolling after the runway reopened! Always interesting to see how backed up that line gets in emergencies, and very satisfying seeing the line of approaches.
Lived in a house on the beach in Sydney right in one of the landing patterns. Giant jets felt like you could reach out and touch them. It was remarkable.
Panic : 0
Professional : 100
Nice addition to the video, the planned destination is displayed for some aircraft, plus different colours for different altitudes?
FYI, Richmond is a military (RAAF) airfield.
Just another day in the office for our pilots and ATC. Love the casual calmness and professionalism.
Worst thing about this is afterwards, they'd have to board yet another Jetstar flight. Hope they bought snacks.
Really impressed with pan call and slow clear radio work. That sector entry to the hold could be used as an approach plate.
I believe at 2:17 the pilot says 121 POB (giving info not asked initially by ATC, but needed) as well as the other requested info.
Ahhh couldn’t have asked for better weather with an issue like this 😎
Clarity of these communications is impressive.
Wow, such chill.
Clear cimmunications!
better than when it stays up
So likely faulty green system as that one controls landing gear
5:38 read back incorrect
No biggie non critical
The readback is correct, just the subtitles not
she asked for dangerous cargo and souls on board, and got no dangerous cargo and fuel. Guess that works in Australia. 😆 🤣 😂
It sounded like the souls on board was slightly cut out at the start of the transmission
*persons on board. Bc you know, religion doesn't infiltrate every facet of life here L0L
Absolutely the best time for hydraulics to fail if its got to. It takes hydraulic pressure to even unlock the gear.
Does "Director" mean "Tower" in this context?
Basically final approach controller
@@HappyGoLucky20 Thanks!!!
Thought they didn’t want fire services…..then later ask for fire services to follow them
He changed is his mind and requested a brake inspection before returning to the gate. A hot brake inspection is a routine request after an overweight landing.
@@elkhunter8664 I didn’t hear that change of request so I’m assuming there was missing audio
How come if the landing gear doest retract is a Panpan is it dangerous
