So Keiji Inafune had to start the art of the level again within 3 days so the art is much simpler. This was one of the problems that occurred in the stressful development of the game
As far as Top Man's weakness to Hard Man's Hard Knuckle, I have this hypothesis: A heavy, sustained force (like a fist) could easily knock over a light spinning object, like a top. To test this, take a top, spin it, and then hit it with your fist. It should easily stop and fall over.

@@marx4538 and its only made better in the wily wars where you keep going through enemies when you topspin them, instead of it bouncing you away from them killing your momentum that part in shadow mans stage wheres those guys parachute down over the pits is completely trivialized with this change, it makes the topspin one of my fav weapons in the series
I was wondering why that part at 0:05 was so satisfying to me. Turns out the first channel plays the real high notes and the second plays low notes so you get a chorus-like feel. Genius.
Top Man first, fun level and music. The fight imo was fun. Diiid end up being useful against some of the final bosses (and THE final, if you had the energy left, I remember if went away REAL fast). Just beat MM11 and revisiting some of this music for extra nostalgia. Great series of games overall, imo. :D

His weapon always confused the heck out of me. Never figured out how it works in terms of drain. Like I would hit shadow man with it and sometimes kill him near instantly. Other times it would take two or three hits. Even ran out of energy once or twice (energy flies down on this weapon). I knew I had to use it for him but to this day heck if I know how it works.
Don't tell Twitter that. You'll just see the fan art for Bottom Man doing... very weird things with Top Man in mere seconds, watermarked and all. Thank goodness they don't know about Hard Man.
it kinda blow my mind that megaman 3 has amazing music, where other nes game has these cheap sound/theme like meanwhile in megaman 3, this shit is on fire!
This game had the most NES sounding osts of the classic era in my opinion. I know thats weird to say since all 6 were on NES but I guess this game is just the one that reminds me the most of the sound most other games had like double dragon or tmnt.

This track gives me the same vibes as Sonic 4 Episode 2's Sky Fortress Acts 2 and 3, I think all 3 of those tracks give tough but positive sky vibes which are so awesome! Mega Man 2 may have Wily Fortress 1 which I fucking adore alongside everyone else but I think 3's soundtrack is better, it has 2 awesome tracks as opposed to 1.
