Crochet Scarf: The Layer Scarf (Fast Paced)

This crochet tutorial will show you how to make my Layer Scarf pattern. You'll need 2 skeins of size 5 yarn and a 11.50mm/P crochet hook. This video is the fast paced version for experienced crocheters. I will make another video with a much slower and more descriptive pace for beginners!

Is there a reason not to do double crochet foundation stitch, rather than chain and then do DC’s?

Nope! You could absolutely do it that way as well! I thought that might be a bit tougher for a beginner so I went the chain route. I'd love to see yours if you do a foundation DC row!

Thank you for your very quick reply! I generally do foundation stitches if there are a lot of chains to do, as I do not enjoy doing numerous chains😀 I feel, that for me, my work looks better.
