Your right about that. As a general contractor here in SoCal, our choices are limited. Brick and block homes are just not cost-effective to build and are a hard sell. Water wicking, insulation solid walls transfer heat and cold, plumbing, electrical, and they are just a nightmare if any part of the construction process needs modification (Electrical, Plumbing doors and windows etc). And there has never been a home built that hasn't had a minor adjustment required in the building process.
