Episode :- The night when Sybil died, there is a moment/conversation between Matthew and Mary about something. I don't remember the whole scene exactly as I watched it a very long time ago. All I remember is from that scene is that it was the night of Sybil's death and Matthew was present in that scene.

His Lordship’s missing snuff box! Especially the interaction between John and Anna in which he calls her a “naughty girl”!

Top 10 Thomas GOOD moments. All the times he is kind! Because people forget about his sweet side and see him as just the "evil butler" even though his character is way more deep then that!

You asked for it, so they go...(In no particular order.)
      * The conversation between O'Brien, Anna and Gwen after Lady Grantham discovers James and Patrick have died on the Titanic. It was when Gwen said, "I thought Lady Mary was the heir."
*The brief but touching conversation between Anna and Bates the night before he is to depart from Downton. Anna, says that he must write as soon as he's fixed or she'll worry.
When Lady Grantham and the Dowager Countess visit Crawley House to visit Cousin Isobel and Matthew. They came to discuss the prospect of Matthew and Mary courting and to fully welcome them to the village/family.
The full scene when Dr. Clarkson, Isobel and Lady Grantham discuss the final wishes of William's mother. She's so proud of her son that she refuses to let him know that she's dying. Mary rebuffs the idea and tells William to visit his mother down by the stables.
When the General praises Lady Edith's service and compassion towards the soldiers staying at Downton during the war.
The heated exchange between Sir Richard and Lavinia.
      Every scene with Lady Rosamund
A video compilation of how important the train 🚂 is to Downton Abbey.
The exchanges between Dr Clarkson and Cousin Isobel.
The ceremony when the Dowager Countess and Cousin Isobel become Co-chairs for the Downton Abbey Village Hospital.
When Lady Edith goes to work on the farm in season 2. The first time she gets involved with a married man.
Tom teaching Lady Edith how to drive.

I'd like to see the scene where Mary waits for Matthew at the station and gives him her lucky charm, it's my favourite! Otherwise I'd like the moment when Mary is in the cemetery and talks to Matthew in front of his tomb. Then she meets Isobel... All really touching!!

I felt sorry for him getting conned and using the last of his savings after he couldn’t find a position anywhere. I know he brought it on himself but it’s still sad

I’ve always loved the scene where Thomas is destroying the shed. It just looks so fantastic. I have a feeling that the writer just saw that scene in a dream or flash of inspiration and wrote the rest of the arc around it.

Thomas was a character you loved to hate and hated to love. He was such a well-rounded character and Downton Abbey wouldn’t have been the same without him.

I absolutely agree!! When I first watched Downton Abbey I thought for sure he (along with O'Brien) was going to be sacked, for sure. But as the series went on I actually found myself intrigued by him and I am so glad that things turned out for the better for him :)

Thomas was a fool to be honest for trusting a complete stranger with all of his money. After acting so mighty (especially to Daisy), so sure of his black market plans thinking it’ll work, then the table turned, lost his money and asking Mr Carson to let him stay at Downton. Even O’Brien warned him about his reckless plans.

Being a homosexual man in Edwardian times was difficult for Thomas. He tried to better his station in life but his methods were questionable. He definitely was a bully. He wasn’t a likable character, too scheming by half, but he eventually redeemed himself. Then, in the first movie, Mary cut his legs off by recalling Mr. Carson to take over the king’s visit to DA.

A part of me feels sorry for him, but another part of me feels like he deserves this for being foolish. He brought this on himself through his black market scheme. There are other ways to earn money. Imagine if the wedding took place and everyone was food poisoned because of those black market goods. Thomas would be held accountable, because he didn’t bother to check the ingredients.
