Since DCI Lambert was not in uniform and he did make contact with you, you have the right to ID him by his warrant card. Ask for it to be presented so you can READ it, ( not just a quick flash). he has an obligation to present it.. they don't like you knowing this.
A lot of officers these days think cause they have a police uniform on they are above the public and they try abusing powers and policies. And what they say is all that matters and try telling you advice and talk absolute nonsense and lies fly out of their mouths. I really think they hate a lot of public and definitely ones who answer them back
The daft thing about "minding the traffic" by the gates directive (at all stations), is that nothing can go in or out at speed. The gates do not open quickly enough!
The most disturbing thing about these videos is coppers are still puzzled by auditors. Its no wonder they can't solve crimes if they keep falling for auditors year on year.
FINALLY one of the auditors has rebutted their "cars come flying out of here" rubbish with the fact that the barrier has to rise up before a car can get out, giving any normal person plenty of time to take a few avoiding steps. Gates, barriers, etc. - it's all the same, and it is a stupid directive from the police that should be scorned, These people think they suddenly become so wise when they get that badge - they know more about everything than everyone else. That is part of the problem, their own sense of their perceived superiority!
Had a decent suit on ,but tie was tied in a shocking manner as usual ,the DCI needs to learn how to balance the tie knot if he’s going to actually wear a tie 😂😂
When an officer approach you and start and ask questions you do NOT have to answer and they MUST identify themselves as required under the Police Ethics set by the College of Policing.
"Memo to all officers....If you see a man with a camera, do not make a fool of yourself by making up laws and trying to be a bully. Identify yourself if asked, advise if your camera is on, and at all times be polite and respectful!" That wouldn't be hard, would it?

All I ever see when the auditors are at police stations is officers walking round doing nothing so when do they actually catch criminals
If they refuse to id when in a position of authority it raises suspicion that they are dirty cops involved in something nefarious .

If I was the top cop, I would send out a message to all coppers. Interact with auditors, and you will end up washing toilets in a jail.
