Beautiful !! I am going to Seletar airport plane spotting in December 2024 (if the wife will let me spend an hour there). I had a tour round the Gulfstream plant in Savannah way back in 1994. No G650s in them days. Just the good old G4s on the line.
Thank you! Well worth the trip out to Seletar for a bit of spotting. Changi also available to you and the RSAF museum too. The museum is small but has a few good exhibits to take in
That’s correct. Military airports to the East and West with a noise sensitive area to the south. To further the complexity, just north of the airport is Malaysian airspace which also adds to the challenges at Seleter
@awree de a lot of the time it depends on how many aircraft we share the airspace with. The Chinese ATC are very good at what they do, but sometimes we are restricted due to the workload they have to manage in looking after so many aircraft at once Either way the Chinese ATC have my respect for what they do. They are very good operators
@@Skylineschannel Watch your video and you are qualified to drive the Global 6000 Gulfstream 550 and Gulfstream 650.In your experience, how do they rank the advanced level of these aircraft? I am a fan of aviation aircraft.
@awree de thanks for your great question I guess it depends on your perspective! The G650 has fly-by-wire flight controls which is more sophisticated than the other aircraft but has generally the same cockpit as the G550 so no big changes there Another example is the Global 6000 has 5 fuel tanks as opposed to the 2 fuel tanks on the Gulfstream aircraft. The Global burns fuel in a way that influences weight and balance throughout the flight for increased efficiency and also has a (what I believe!) a better cockpit for pilot interface All 3 types are amazing to fly and have advantages over the others. If you’d like to know more specifics I would be happy to share more Thanks again for reaching out
@@Skylineschannel Which is more advanced, the Gulfstream 550 or the Global 6000?I saw an ad that said the Gulfstream 450 is easier to operate in an emergency because it only has two fuel tanks under the wing.Do you agree with this statement?

Thank so much.
Always welcome Steve
Which are the three restrictive sides of Seletar airport? Is it south, east and west?

@@Skylineschannel thank you for the info Sir. 😊
You very welcome
Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions. Always happy to help
Is it impossible to give full play to the performance of 650 in China's airspace?
