This would be absolutely true if we were at Sea Level in International Standard Atmosphere (ISA) conditions . However because we are at altitude and it’s cold the KPH changes If you’re able to freeze the short you can see in the bottom right corner of the 3rd screen (DU3) we have a TAS of 489kts and a Ground Speed of 501kts. TAS is 922kph and GS is 927kph Thanks for the comment. Always appreciated

Thank you for the great question No policy specifically. Before auto throttle the right seat used to adjust the power if necessary to the desired takeoff power. With the Gulfstream we only have to make sure the power is set before 60kts. At 60kts, the auto throttle goes into a “HOLD” mode. Basically it won’t move the power again until above 400 feet

We do like to “Fly Casual”….but only on ferry flights 😂

I’ve worked on the A300-B4 and A330 as a mechanic. A300 had CF6-50 and the A330 had CF6-80 engines. The Trent is a pretty reliable engine by all accounts. Check out the nose of the A300 if you get a chance. Very similar to the A330

@@Skylineschannel Their noses are pretty similar indeed. There are plenty of A300 freighters flying today. The majority of the olders A330 use CF6 engines.

Fair question! Longest I’ve done is around 12:50 flight time 2 crew. Duty restrictions vary between companies. I’ve done 17:30 duty 2 crew and 21:50 3 crew. Both of these required the implementation of duty extensions due to unforseen circumstances after the duty period had commenced
