Today I’m onboard one of the world’s most luxurious private jets… in a class beyond First Class. Specifically I’ll be trying out Qatar Executive’s Gulfstream G650, along with their new private terminal and private airport. I’ll be meeting with Captain Husam Khalil, who will be walking me through all the different features of this $65 million dollar jet. Other highlights will be high tea in the jet, meeting Captain Rashid and trying out the bedroom onboard this incredible aircraft.
I’m starting my journey in Doha today, specifically Hamad International airport, at the executive wing. This is a facility reserved for the most discerning, ultra high net worth individual.. which clearly I’m not! Let’s explore what it’s like to travel as the 0.1%, what’s on offer and what’s it actually like? This is not an ordinary trip report, so come with me on a very rare opportunity to experience the private world of Qatar Executive.

I am a Gulfstream Technician since 2000. It is great to see someone from outside the aviation community appreciate our aircraft. Thank you for showcasing one of our beautiful ladies, the G650.
Do you need Military experience to work as an A&P at Gulfstream? Or to be respected by other A&Ps at Gulfstream?
FAA or CAA? went to school & completed my hours for A&P but never took the test(couldn't take the test after the 2 year mark) which i regret till this day...

Kudos to Qatar for allowing such access. No matter who you are, it’s always brave to allow public/non-company access for a honest review. Obviously I’m impressed with the aircraft and the experience prior to actually boarding but I’m more impressed with the friendliness of the staff and crew from start to finish. For such a high-end experience, they presented very relaxed and relatable rather than stiff and as superior as they could be. Also impressive is that they appear to care for their crew’s well-being. This to me shows a rare clarity that, after the product itself, this is the number one step in providing their clients the best experience. Qatar is an excellent executive travel choice and obviously understand what is needed in their offering. (Oh & congrats to you TrekTrendy for your experience! What an honor for you and your channel. Great job!)

I enjoyed the video, but I certainly wouldn’t call it an honest review - and I don’t think it was trying to be one. He wasn’t taking a critical look into pros and cons, competitors, pricing, etc. It was an entertaining look at a luxury that in all likelihood none of us will ever witness.
Hard work has paid off and to be invited to this exclusive world of aviation also shows where your channel is heading. Thanks for allowing us to experience it with you. Transparent with everything! Even if it is an invited only event. Looking forward to the rest of the uploads! Great work as always.

Never say never. A guy born when airships were assumed to be the future of transportation got to walk on the moon.
Honestly, the two things that impressed me the most are 1. 700mph (I would imagine you could only get that fast over the water because of the sonic booms) and 2. 51,000 feet??? Pretty much there's no weather phenomenon you can't fly over getting up that high! Holy crap!
700mph is only Mach 0.9 so almost the speed of sound but not the speed of sound.

What a fantastic and unique experience. Frankly I don't see this as a Chui type video since you actually disclosed that you were invited and there was creepy interviews with the female employees were the female employees probably feel like they need a shower. Keep up the great work.

You didn't get to experience the full Gulfstream G650 experience since you didn't take off and land in a different country or time zone. That would have been more epic.
But being inside the Gulfstream and having meal service ,etc is like being in another world!

I'm tempted to ask... do you have a blog where you documented your journey on how you've come to this stage of being able to travel first and business class so often? I used to work on these planes. I would climb into the fuel bays for 12 hours a day and make sure they were up to snuff before being attached to the main fuselage. I miss being apart of such a big operation. Had to leave because of some bad business practices during the height of the pandemic. Working a better paying job without having to work as much but I still think of my days as a wing jockey

Quick tip: You should go to Gloucestershire Airport in the UK it has come second in the busiest general aviation airport not only is there amazing staff but there is a company called the Little Jet Company and their private jets or turboprops are amazing mate, keep making me smile and good luck on all your dreams. 😁

I use to work at an FBO and we had a G650 in for the day and I got to have lunch onboard with the flight attendant and im glad our experiences are the same.

Qatar airways is by far at the top of their game, I've flown their business class on multiple occasions and they have some of the finest planes and most accommodating staff in the industry. I always feel as though somehow I am taking advantage of their service when I fly but truly they are gracious and friendly on all accounts, I have nothing bad to say about the experience. Top tip if you live in Qatar and have a QID turn left at the passport check and register for quick entry with your finger print and avoid the snake line when flying coach it will save you an hour on some occasions especially with the world cup approaching.
Cant get behind the massive abuse of human rights you always seem to over look for a nice plane ride.

I stumbled across your channel yesterday and find it fascinating to see what flying First Class is like. Its great to see how the other half live and this look around a Qatar Executive Gulfstream was marvellous.
You have a wonderful job jet setting around the world reviewing facilities. Great channel, I have subscribed.
Its funny, I've never flown private but talked to a couple people who have flown private in a small business jet out of BNA(Nashville). Granted this was like 10 years ago, but it was like you arranged a time for a driver to pick you up from your hotel, house, the office tower downtown after your meeting etc. They showed up in a black Town Car, drove you to the airport. You entered thru the general aviation entrance, they flashed their badge, the gate went up, they drove you to the stairs of your plane. You almost immediately taxied, took off within 15 minutes of leaving the limo. When you landed, you taxied to the private terminal, walked off the stairs into the black Town Car and were driven home immediately. The time savings of not dealing with the airport was the whole point, you could get work done riding in the back of the Town Car and in flight. They also said the jet was an old Lear Jet from the late 80's/early 90's or a Cessna Citation from the 80's.
Have seen the Qatar executive gulfstreams a few times at my local airport. In cayman we get a lot of private jets because there’s a lot of rich people to come here for short periods of time and also very limited air connection outside North America.
I like that you didn't compromise your dress sense. You actually dressed like an Indie rockstar.

I have a friend who is in the private jet leasing business. On a number of occasions he has been generous enough to take a group of us to Las Vegas for the weekend on the G4 and G5. It does spoil you for anything else.
