Ms. Tami, I wanted to personally thank you for sharing, and reviewing, all of the recent Italian food finds. You sure made this old English-Italian Doctor chuffed with pride! I am not surprised in the slightest [that] you and Mr. Dunn fancied the hazelnut variety; hazelnuts grew in abundance in the Italian region Piedmont, Italy, where it is considered the ‘king of Italian chocolate.’ Chocolatiers swapped out some of the expensive cocoa for the readily available hazelnuts. The combination was a hit; cheaper, easier to produce and bloody delicious. 😀 Moreover, there is chocolate, and then there is gianduiotto chocolate. But what is gianduiotto chocolate, you ask? It is an ancestor of Nutella. Indeed! You heard that right; the melt-in-your-mouth treat is as rare as it is delicious! Like most renowned Italian artisan chocolate, gianduiotto originates from the aforementioned Piedmont, Italy. It is made of a rich paste consisting of fine cocoa mixed with the premium hazelnuts that grow in Piedmont’s Langhe region. Trust me when I tell you that it is hugely popular with locals. Lastly, whilst I am at it, Nutella, Nudossi and Nusspli are considered the holy trinity of hazelnut spreads. Germans are not the only ones to do hazelnut right - we Italians know a thing or two! 😆 Grazie! Arrivederci, 👋 Giovanni Marino, M.D.🇬🇧🇮🇹
I tried the pralines with hazelnut filling. I couldn't discern the taste of hazelnut at all which was subtle at best but it was still absolutely sumptuous and delicious !
Considering the cost/shipping of imported foods from Switzerland too, that is a deal. We were there this past summer and I found so many Swiss-exclusive snacks I love. It is crazy trying to ship them here 😆
Hi Tami and Kevin l would love to try them even the dark chocolate one even though l don't like dark chocolate thay sound so good. Wish l could get them here in the UK thanks for sharing great review xx❤

I’m surprised they didn’t have a milk chocolate version of the truffles as well. I agree, I don’t think the bar is too expensive. It’s a nice size and like you both said, it’s good quality. These all sound good, but gosh the pralines sound delicious! I hope my Walmart has them. Thanks for a great review.
Great review
Thank you 😊
Pralines n the bar are my two winners. Yum
Thank you for an awesome review; sweet and scrumptious!
Enjoy! 😊
They are worth it!

Bless your heart Kevin 🤣 "Oh, you get a whole row for 170 cals." Vertical, Kevin. Vertical 🤣🤣🤣
😄😄
My local Wal had that bar on a clearance shelf for 5 bucks last year. Was quite happy with that find.
Oh wow! What a deal!
Wally World getting fancy on us with Italian chocolate. They do look like high quality and a little goes a long way I would think. Great review
Thank you 😊
The bar sounds good. I’ve not heard of this brand but wouldn’t mind picking this if I happened across it. Thanks for the review.
It’s so delicious 😋

Pralines sound terrific!
They are delicious!
Great review! I think I'll give this brand a try. I don't think $1 per 4 piece bar is bad.
Their dark chocolate sounds really good! I could go without the cocoa nibs though.

the milk chocolate bar or the pralines look the best ☺️
I guess you would have to break it into serving sizes to store it?
We keep it in a ziplock bag.
