I'm just curious, can any of the guys do anything without you telling them, I mean every job is like their first day. Eric and Francisco do their own jobs and you have to tell them where to set the pins or place the plastic, whats the deal?

3. Victory will always have work for their exposure on UA-cam so they know they will have steady work for the season

@@AreOhBe2010true, but he is showing a limited ability to learn new things. Let’s be honest, he wouldn’t have to be a great finisher to be a valuable asset. Simply remembering the correct sequence of operations , writing down instructions and being aware of his surroundings would make him highly valuable.
He wasn't hired for his ability to do anything besides drive the trucks which he hasn't seemed to fail at yet....

Attaching a trailer still seems to be a work in progress, pto..., was looking at the winter yard for an equipment located in the old yard. These are pure driver tasks the is still needs to master after a full season.

He’s a good guy and shows up on time everyday, but he definitely doesn’t seem to want to learn new things to better himself. It’s literally always something in every video
Leaving lights on, windows down, boxes open. Loosing tools/stolen. No communication when leaving or not arriving to job. taking much longer to do a task than if did it yourself. NOT cleaning. I worked as a laborer for 20 years and I would have been fired from all jobs I worked if I did these things. Kind of frustrating to see you being okay with it.

It feels like it’s everyone’s first day,they didn’t know what to do or how to do it. Erick and Tito and Francisco not knowing how to set a stamp is crazy since they’re finishers.

Ryan you need to have some 3/4-1" pvc pipe on the truck so you can put pins in the ground and slip the pipe over the top to make arches to help keep.the plastic off the concrete walkway looks awesome

I am a lifelong contractor myself in the building trades, next time those guys miss the site by 10 minutes from everyone who left the shop at the same time. I'd make it time for some surprise drug test... I'd bet you a dollar to a doughnut somebody's smokin' the gusto on the way to the jobs ... it also explains why stuff is left on and open... In Your Company Trucks... insurance wont doesn't cover that BS
I agree, but if concrete contractors started drug testing there wouldn’t be anyone to work 🤣 at least in my area
One day maybe have a small job or somebody in the crew supervising that runs it and it's a big test for their future somebody's got to step up to the plate and help you out more

I find it odd that a few of your guys want or have started businesses but still don't know how to do their regular job correctly. Around here if someone opens a truck door and they are going to steal one saw they always take both. 6:21 Martinez is by far one of the best hammers I’ve had and I’ve had this version M-1 for years and it’s still going strong. I used to use stiletto hammers which are very comparable. The guy Martinez used to be a designer for stiletto and he left and started his own company

Took all gravel out put out inStreet to dry for about an hour Finished garage floor and driveway that day . Then all. Summer was 90z & 100 F 😩 be careful what you wish for. lol What you say is Projected out into the. Universe . A very successful guy told me once if we Sat around Worrying about the Weather / Rain we would never work or get anything done !

I got a labeler I use to put placard reminders everywhere. My life philosophy treat every employee like they have the cognitive ability of a 10 year old. It's the only way I maintain my patience. Every day my inner mantra is be humble. Some of my good friends are geniuses and I think of how they must feel when dealing with me.

Sometimes I can feel your frustration through the camera. It’s a daily occurrence for a small business owner and it’s just a part of life. I really appreciate the way you handle less than ideal circumstances. It would be easy to yell and scream at your employees. 99% of the time it’s just best to take the time to teach and fix the issues head on rather than throw a fit. I’m thankful that I was able to pick up on these good habits of yours and shift my thinking into positivity rather than negativity. Thank you Ryan and keep spreading your positivity!
