Andy Findlay the RODFATHER what this man doesn't know about fishing isn't worth knowing a living Legend and and all his ideas completely changed angling for ever Andy a pure genius real nice bloke great video joe thanks, para
Neil I love how unique he fishes and the conversations we have are.unlike any I have had with other anglers. His approaches are super simple yet well thought out and executed with precision.
Ive just watched the Mssterclass that you filmed . Inspirational video. Brilliant insight . Love the tungsten tip to cock the float . What an idea . Thanks Andy and Joe .
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me!
@Moses Jonathan Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
I prefer not to have any weight on the float whatsoever, and let the paste cock the float. Then when the paste Comes off, the float lies flat on the surface. Always worth a strike when this happens as could be a lift bite. I have hooked dozens of fish unexpectedly by striking when this happens. If its really windy I put a No. 6 shot around 8 inches from the top of the float. Who am I to argue with Andy? He's one of the greatest commercial fishery matchman around, his results speak for themselves. I suppose at the end of the day, it's what you are most confident doing, shot/weight, or nothing at all on the line for your paste fishing.
Great angler he's forgot more about fishing than most of us know about it hope he's not at the glebe tomorrow on the members match as I'm there practicing my paste fishing ready for the festival in a few weeks and knowing my luck I'll draw next to him and he will bash me up 😂💪 very approachable to always will speak and give advice top guy
I fished makins lizard yesterday.. afternoon session 12 to 15 carp up to 15lb on paste and hemp. Good session but I missed so many bites.. proper good yanks as well. Any ideas why?
It might change, but surely when everyone comes away from it and after a while when you go back to it surely it becomes deadly again... ??? I guess its a case of how long you leave it.??
I still catch loads on paste. I think it is very much a confidence bait. Andy fishes with hard pellets all of the time now so he has the confidence in that approach.
I love this, like Yoda and Luke, passing on to the young padwan. 😊
The master at work

I’ve never fished with paste before, might give it ago next time I go 🎣👍
It's a great way of catching carp. Can be frustrating but it's worth it
