100% spot on. My car is a 13 GT and followed his recommendations from years ago and Im still hurting feelings of 10 speed s550 guys on the street. Awesome video Alex.
The best part is the face of the 10r80 guy when ya beat him too! 😅
Awesome job man! 👏
It’s an amazing feeling when you can run with the 10 speeds in a manual the 10 speed guys are insanely confused lol
Your modded car beat a stock car. Unprecedented!!!!
@@eliteghost0001 he was full bolt on with tire and it was from a dig. Nice try though.
@@James-in2lt are you fr rn. You really think you get to say “nice try though”. Bro that’s your fault for not saying that from the start. I can’t anymore, I’ve lost faith in humanity if you can’t recognize your lack of communication skills and instead blame me 😂😂
Papi Alex just gave away 10+ years worth of knowledge in a span of 14 minutes. With countless trials and errors through LUND racing. That’s why he’s the GOAT.
This is gonna be a sick series
Your car with just an NA Yote is gonna be wild.
@@169abr you already know! Gen 2 king daddy 👑
Definitely!!
Can we all take a moment and show respect to this man here. He gave us all the answer from a 13+ year old engine in 14 mins. How much years or research and trials and errors like paya said in the comment. Follow his advice for success.
In a world full of S550 content the Gen1 love is awesome. I feel like as this channel has aged the informative videos and streams have gotten so much clearer and concise with the presentation of the information. I truly have learned so much that I feel I couldn't have gotten outside of a masterclass. At this point when I want to know something about tuning or performance regarding coyote Mustangs this is the place I come to, whether it be watching a video or busting out laughing during a stream. More videos like this could become a bible for creating a roadmap to build a monster track car or a great street car. I personally would love to see more videos like this one on boosted applications and the pros and cons for both on a Gen1. Keep up the good work!
The information you provide is awesome. Looking forward to this series!
Great information! Loving this series already.
Fantastic video! I’m very excited to see more of this series.
Sweet concept, this is great! Thanks Alex.
Definitely interested in this series, really helping alot people with this information. Can't wait for gen auto.
I appreciate all the coyote content on your channel man, has been a huge help for me both before and now currently since i just picked up a 2011 GTCS
I like the concept of this series!
Perfect video. Simple and easy to understand . Thanks very much again. You are the best.

I hope these videos bless you with companies crediting you because you bring knowledge and business to those companies!
I'm in the market for a coyote mustang (finally!) I'm definitely loving your information! Thanks for sharing your experience!
This is the content I want to see! Please keep it coming 😊
This video is great. I have a 14 gen 1 and so does my brother. Been following your advice for a long time. I appreciate you putting this information out there.
This series will be so good, can't wait until it reaches Gen 3

Love this series!
love these types of videos please keep uploading this type of content !!
I cut a 1.5 60ft on a 28x10x18 N/A 14. On a pretty aggressive launch.
For those newbies Listen to Alex. He knows his shit!! 🫡
Appreciate the info, Alex. Id love to hear about building a Gen3 manual drag car.
This is now my favorite video of yours. I hope I don't have to wait too long to get the Boosted Manual Gen 1 video.
Thanks for the info and tuning my fox body. I'm following this recipe to get it into the 10s.
Im so thankful I found this channel even before I got my 14. My little daily driver build has been so reliable and stress free thanks to the info provided by Alex. Thank you sir!
This is great, such potential in this series
Great video Alex! You probably already have this in the works, but would love to see a video like this on Gen 2 as well!
Great video Alex! I love the format of the info delivery too!
Sometimes really good and helpful / insightful info can get hidden inside other videos. This sort of 'generic formula' video should help with frustrating noob questions (from people like myself) from clogging the comments and chat sections in your channel. Keep up the great work man. I appreciate you!
Really looking forward to the gen2 video! Need to see if I should port my 350 manifold.
This series is going to be sooo good for everyone thats too lazy to go back to your old videos to search
LMFAO!!! Well said
Great info Alex. Delivery is on point, and the content is amazing. My boss and F150 are asking for a tune now that i have E85 close to me...
I haved learned so much from you. Thanks Alex!
Alex has helped me with my peasant N/A lol i did exactly what he said in this video and the car really surprises people. Especially when i put stg 3 SR cams and boss springs.
Great video, looking forward to one on gen 1 auto.
Really good informative video. Simple and well articulated. I own a Gen 3 and regardless of whether its applicable or not is irrelevant. I find it hard to fathom that a true car enthusiast wouldn’t enjoy this type of video. Appreciate you sharing your obvious knowledge.
Yooo this series is perfect. If you could do a video on how you would build your own ess that’d be amazing!
This kinda content is what will severly help the coyote industry, and it's F R E E.
Awesome info and great series
Loved if... Love to learn in layman terms. Thank you
Great series idea👍
Love this channel, I have a '13 Boss 302 , and a few more, man this is good stuff ~
Love this series! I want more s197 content!
Right on the money. 11.6x NA gen1 mt82 back in the day.
Great Contant all as always. Dropping that knowledge bomb
Thanks to this dude and his high caliber knowledge of Coyotes…not very many cars wanna dig race…I still haven’t decided if I should boost, hell I really don’t enjoy roll races anyway…appreciate all your info bro!
Thank you for making this
Excellent no nonsense video
Hell yea looking forward to these.. Will you be doing videos on Turbo setups also?
I like this type of videos. maybe even do some truck builds stuff also. keep ‘em coming! 👍🏼
Excellent video, Alex. 💯
Fantastic information!! Thank you for showing gen 1 coyote love, we still out here hurting feelings and blowing ear drums!
great series idea!
This is such a great concept. Super informative super straight to the point as always. Wondering about “sub” category builds. What about maybe a gen 1 daily build that would give other cars a run for their money? Just a thought. Thanks for all the info.
Absolutely loved the video, especially since I have a Gen 1 N/A (Convertible) build in progress. I have done most of what you listed in the video including 18+ manifold and front sway bar delete. Will removing my rear sway in favor of an anti-roll bar help the weight transfer better?? I do have a 2011 Track Pack. Also at what point should I change OPG/CS?? Thanks for all your videos about Mustangs and Corvettes and keep up the fantastic work you do.
Thank you for the info good sir 💯🙏🏼
Nice, keep on going this is great tutorial for car builders.
Appreciate the content Alex 🫡👍🏽
I wasn’t aware an 18 manifold and a boss manifold tune the same, good info Alex 👍🏻
This info needs to be broadcast everywhere. A fool proof way to enjoy your car without screwing it up.
Cant wait for the 2020-2022 GT500 street build video ;-)
Ive ran a 12.6 1/4 with a 1.9 60ft in my auto 13 gt with 3.15 gears in about 2000+DA on a 255 summer tire. Ive done minimal weight reduction, coilovers, pmas cai, 47lb ford performance injectors, e85, 160 thermostat, and 6r80 race trans tune shifting at 7500 rpm. Planning on getting a 245mm 3800-4000 rpm converter, LTH, ported boss, more weight reduction and alot of suspension to try for 10.9-11.1 in a lower DA setting
Great advice man
This was excellent!
Ayyy let’s go, all about that gen 1 life
Alex, you get me so pumped to get a Mustang again. Looking at a 2013-2014 GT, 6 speed. God be with you.
This series is bad ass. I can finally share a video instead of trying to poorly answer friends questions lol
Love it. You should eventually get to the fox and tell the secrets to 13s, 12's, 11s and 10s.
Love this video got a 14 gt going to be going this way
Love it. 13gt tuned by you been going consistent 11.5s with boss mani 4.10s ffe and springs still stock clutch. 3450 with me in it. Got plans for clutch and full suspension trying to go 10s on 93 😊
It can be done in good air if you make it a tin can lol.
Awesome content Alex 👍
This is great info!
This is awesome hoping for a boosted manual gen 1 video!
Oh dang!! Great content idea!
Great video Alex
I like this video I learned a little bit
Great information here
Very information video tio I have a 12 track pack mt82 I bought it already FBO or half bolted on as y’all say lol I just need a tune from the best and see what she’s really capable of
Executed perfectly. Straight to the point, no ambiguous talk. Nice job.
Very cool vid.
My 13 GT is FBO and makes 425 rwhp. I love it. Tuned by Brenspeed.
Love these kind of videos, keep it up Alex
thanx, great video.
You sir deserve a cold beer
My old 2012 gen 1 use to random misfire on cylinder 8 intermittently. Mods were cj mani, gt500 throttle body, ford intake, catless headers w borla mufflers. On 93 pump gas 6r80.
These videos are gonna be perfect, but someone is still gonna ask in the chat what should i do about this and that.. 😅😅
Keep doing these Sir.. 👌👌💥💥
Great advice! My 14 went 12.89 with pmas, cat deletes and tune but on a 275 Firestone Firehawk tire. Probably could have gone low 12s but didn't want to hurt the stock clutch
What was the mph? People always talk et but without mph it doesn't tell us much. If you ran 12.89 at 110 that is good if u ih went 12.89 at 120 that sucks and means you need to get out better. 60 foot tells all. The better it is better et will be but mph doesn't change alot which is why it's important to know.
Great video Alex! Would you please consider doing one for a Gen 3 manual transmission Mustang? I have a 2019 Bullitt with a host of mods. Last year, I went out to Bradenton Motorsports Park and was only able to run a best of 12.35 @ 116 NA with a 1.9 sixty. I also ended up burning up the clutch during that outing. I’ve since upgraded everything that you mentioned in this video, as well as added some Kelltrac Ultra Spec Inverted Double Adjustable Viking Drag Shocks out back along with with Shock Delete Engineering sensors for Magneride cars, to keep PCM happy. This is going to be a lengthy comment, but here is the list of mods that I have done to my car:
- Subframe braces
- Diff. bushing kit with through bolt kit (black bushings)
- Subframe bushing supports
- Hardcore diff. bracket
- Subframe alignment kit
- Adj. rear camber arms
- RLCA Spherical bearings
- Adj. toe links
- Billet vertical links (delrin bushings)
- 1 piece driveshaft
- Driveshaft safety loop
- Tri-ax Race shifter
- Adj. motor mounts (set to drag race configuration)
- Idler and tensioner pulleys
Other suspension/drivetrain components
- KellTrac Ultra Spec Viking Inverted double adjustable rear shocks
- Forgestar D5 17X10 beadlock drag wheels with 305/45/17 MT ET Street Radials and 18X5 front runner with MT radials
- Ram Pro Street Twin Disc Cerametalic clutch with lightened aluminum flywheel
- Built MT82-D4 transmission with Cryo and WPC treated hard parts, carbon fiber lined synchros and a Setrab external fluid pump for cooling purposes
- Hitmaster 2 Stage Hydraulic Clutch Hit Control System (controls the amount of fluid and slip to the clutch via valving and programmable digital launch and shift timers). See link here for details on this system functions: grannys.tripod.com/hitmaster.html
- Ford Performance half shafts
Engine/bolt on mods
- Ultimate Headers catted long tube headers
- Steeda X-pipe
- Steeda axle back exhaust
- PMAS CAI (no tune required version)
Power adder and tuning
- Nitrous Outlet GT350 plate nitrous system (jetted for 150 hp and E85 fuel) and ProMax progressive controller
- Lund Racing tunes for 93 octane, Flex, E85 and Nitrous
- JMS Boost-a-Pump
Miscellaneous components
- N2MB WOT Box (used in conjunction with Hitmaster 2 Stage Clutch Hit Control System for recommended 7400 rpm launch)
Note: The car makes 469 rwhp/434 rwtq naturally aspirated and 639 rwhp/602 rwtq with nitrous.
Thanks,
Adrian
Great video bro
