    I would be inclined to run some big, single packing washer on each side of the radius arm bushes to allow spacing. Having the brackets so close to arms will be an issue when you start getting flexitime and dynamic roll.

    i remember asking matt if he could send me a kit few years back now when the chassis swaps started, good to see its finally in swing! I like my nav but the ride is so bad im in agony after 45min so shes pretty much sat in the backyard for the last couple of years. hopefully a sas will correct that.

      Yeah the torsion bar and leaf definitely has its limits with lift and comfort. I can’t wait to have full adjustment of everything. The kits shouldn’t be too far off being produced, he just has a few tweaks left.

    Hey mate in the process of lining up parts for myself to do this job. So glad you're making a video series on it! I was wondering why you chose the 2.0 shocks over 2.5s?

    • @ReubsModifications
      @ReubsModifications  2 роки тому

      That’s awesome mate, I’m not an expert on suspension components so I left it to Matt. I told him what I wanted to do with the car and he recommended the size I should go for. He explained that because I wanted to fit longer coilovers the 2.0 would be easier to fit 👍🏻

    Have you gone down the path of certification? if so what was involved?

    • @ReubsModifications
      @ReubsModifications  2 роки тому +1

      Awesome to hear that mate love the feedback. I got in contact with an engineer we use often at work who is familiar with our quality of work. He said he would be happy to cert it as long as its within legal lift and tyres.
      If you're wanting to do this get in contact with engineers before you start and find exactly what you need to do for them to be satisfied. In the end its their name on the line once its mod plated so they have the final say.

    How much ride height that you set up?

    • @ReubsModifications
      @ReubsModifications  2 роки тому

      Ride height will be 150mm from stock height to keep it legal or close to. The actual measurements were taken from the guards stock was 850mm front and 900mm. However with 12in coilovers it will have way more down travel than up travel.
