Literally Matt you have solved one of the biggest mysteries of the century. My Rubicon won’t charge any of my Jackery’s and it was just that Pure Sine thing . I just ordered a pure sine inverter to tryout. Thanks

New BLUETTI elite 2 is a great battery pack for the weekend Warriors, which consist of Friday evening through Sunday around noon and back home. I have an Engel MT-45 , CPAP machine , iPad ,iPhone , lights and use an induction cooker to cook meals that last no more than 5 to 6 minutes at a time for total of maybe about 6 meals and it works just fine. Thanks for another great video. Looking forward to more gear that’s designed for the weekend warrior.

A cool power station for sure from Bluetti. Its definitely geared toward a camper/overlander. Thanks for showing it'll run a diesel heater as almost nobody else does. I seen another review of this unit that shows it does not automatically wake up in the morning with a solar panel plugged into it. I still think a better bang for buck is the Pecron E1500LFP. Cheaper, lighter, expandable and has a wireless phone charger on top. Its cigarette plug runs a diesel heater too. Has a 30A xt60 port to good for an RV.

Thankyou for your time and effort spent in testing and reviewing this "powerful little box."
At some point, you'd think teardrop and travel trailer manufacturers have to start putting a second(alternate) shore power hookup/plug "Inside" the camper for this type of power station. For the price of some of these power stations, I wouldn't want them outdoors for extended periods of time. Just my thoughts. Thanks again

I’ve been sitting here debating on whether or not to get a power station like this. The Ecoflow Delta 2 Max was the one I was most interested in…until now.
Also, your channel costs me a lot of money 😂.

Matt - finally a video that addresses the diesel heater dilemma about start up power surges. Can't believe these manufacturers don't recognize this need in the overland/camping community. Could you please explain the Bluetti Charger 1? Would bundling the 350 solar panels be worth the cost? Best regards, TM

thanks! For the charging, it depends on if you're traveling each day or staying at camp for a few days. If traveling, then the charger 1 is the better option. If staying at camp, then solar.

I was looking at purchasing a AC180, was actually renting one from Bluetti for a couple months just to make sure it would work for me. While I waited for them to put the AC180P on sale. Then randomly I saw an ad for the AmpAura Purea 1.5 kWh power station on sale for $469 and jumped on it. 1536Wh, 3600W peak power, 600W solar/car charging capability. For that price I figured why not, and am looking forward to using it on my next trip.

Hey Matt, so you said it wont charge from the gladiator inverter, did you try? Does the 200L charge from the gladiator inverter? Will it charge of a honda 2000 generator? Asking cause im on the fence now as to what one to get. I wanted to be able to charge it on the gladiator inverter while im driving and at my camp if its low wanted to be able to start the truck and charge. Pretty much going to be used for my fridge and starlink.

As someone who is in the market for a power station, this is a home run! I would use it as a long-term power supply for my SetPower fridge while camping/Overlanding and as a backup emergency power supply. Bluetti has the AC180 on sale for $499 and will include a 200v solar panel for $779(ish). Hopefully, the price will be realistic. Thank you for a thorough review!

    I just received my Elite 200 V2.
Pretty darn small. It replaced the Ecoflow Delta 2 from my truck. It fits😅
Turbo mode requires agreement and 8 digit code.
    It's 88888888
As a technical background, how Bluetti was able to fit everything into such a compact frame. There's a good and bad. They removed all the hardwire and replaced it with the heavy circuit board.
This will take a lot of weight off and the real estate.
The bad is with all circuit boards. They're prone to malfunction easily.
But, with 5 years warranty. I'll take it. 😅

It doesn't automatically kick on and begin charging when the Sun comes up. You have to unplug and plug the solar charging connector in each day. You can not set and forget this model. Credit: ReeWray Outdoors. He performs the test.

With juice like that, do you even need a diesel heater? Just run a little electric heater, depending on the space you need to heat. This is the first power station that got me excited about electric camping. Purchased, along with a Charger 1.

Exactly my reason for such a beast. I chose the My Heat 200watt and a $20 amazon thermostat to keep my minivan warn. Should run full time for 10 hours. And with thermostat, I'm thinking 50%, so maybe 20 hours run time? Also Getting the Bestek 1000watt Pure Sine inverter to charge it on the go.

Ever since I bought a Bluetti I’ve experienced nothing but nightmares. Wonder if it will all of the sudden work and keep my fridge cold or decide nope not today. Customer service blames me - user error. For long term power outages nothing beats a gas generator. Ecoflow sells a gas and propane generator you can use to supplement a gas only generator. And of course you can use solar panels to recharge the unit. I can’t attest to how long my Bluetti will last because it doesn’t work consistently. I wonder when Temu will start selling the Bluetti because that is a fitting place for it.

@ozarkoverlandadventures I need your help. I want to use my first solar generator primarily for camping but also in case of power outages. The main thing is that id like to be able to power a portable air conditioner or heater when its super hot or cold. I attempted camping in 100 degree heat this summer. Whew. Im trying to decide between the Pecro. 3600 lfp, pecron 2400 lfp, bluetti 200 v2, or pecron 1500lfp. Im a little concerned about weight but pecron has a trolley for the 3600. Im completely new to solar. What should i do? Just tell me please. Im so tired of looking at videos. Im stressed. Lol. --tent camping

    • @socom2173
      @socom2173 2 місяці тому

I chose the 200 V2. not too heavy, very efficient and smaller. It's portable and for home use I can just buy a couple 100ah 12V Lipo4 batteries and a $40 amazon battery charger. That would double the battery capacity by connecting through the solar input on the V2 to recharge. For another $450. V2 is $1099. Also gonna grab a Hcalory Toolbox2 ($200) Diesel heater for heating large tent/home in a power outage.

I still complain about no 12v30amp dc output - the small sizing is perfect for a short wheel base van conversion and 12v10amp is just too limited even with the new tech. I run a fridge, lights, water pump, 12v boot heaters in winter off my AC200Max. I only ever use 1 AC outlet as phones and laptops charge via the USB outlets. I really don't know why they keep adding so many AC outlets. I'm waiting for the smallest sizing to upgrade as my AC200Max is currently having charging issues
