It's the sheer simplicity that makes this scene so profoundly beautiful....just 2 characters somehow finding common ground to bond over in spite of their obvious differences and the difficulties they have endured......the music towards the end is more than enough to tug at the heart strings also....
Just a shame, cinema has become a lost art.

Current year is so awful...this scene is so lovely, but it just makes me think, remember the days when a grown man could just be a friend to a boy and not be accused of being a molester? Or have his mother sue the man for child support?.... Liberals like to act like we're so much better off these days and how far we've come but all I see is degeneracy and how much we've lost in the name of progress. We gained equal rights, and that's wonderful, but did we have to give up our souls, dignity, and decency to get that?
