I don’t usually worry about space because I don’t have everything displayed all the time. I keep most things stored and then just rotate different figures in the couple display areas I have every few months. Keeps it fresh and doesn’t take up too much space. This also allowed me to see more clearly which figures/lines I didn’t really need so I’ve been able to cut down on those types of unnecessary figures.
I do like the rotation plan, I have stuff boxed up for a while now (probably means I don’t have much interest and should part ways with some of that stuff)
Seeing it in person, I gotta say that it's incredible. Every inch of it is textured/sculpted and painted. Its impressive. I saw someone posted that it would fit on top of two Detolf cabinets. I'm guessing between $400 - $500. Standard set and the accessory set with additional head, flames, neck adaptor. They didn't mention prices for that either. I have that big long shelf that currently has the Razor Crest, Slave One, and other vehicles. The dragon would fit there. So, as a Legions collector, I want to get it. I've already started looking at what things I can sell to fund it, lol.
Thanks for the question Vern, I think that the size wouldn’t matter as much as you can always purchase another home. Collecting shouldn’t be tied down to space.
If you don't move houses to have enough space, are you really even a proper collector? Checking house prices, if I move to Guatemala I'd have all the space I need.
At $300.00 all in, I would get it. I'm not a collector. I just buy stuff that looks cool if I can afford it or justify the price. I was at Legionscon. That dragon is a work of art. I'm not sure what the other dragon you're talking about is, though.
i hear there will be tiers, a basic dragon and then add ons (fire etc) just the dragon would be awesome for me! i imagine that this could easily go into a living room or loft space, and be displayed around a plant or something. Super7 has a dragon (Tiamat) its a soft vinyl designed with a cartoon look.
LOL using the sentinel was awesome but yeah I can imagine how people including myself are scoping out the space for it. Hasbro got beat because this also can fill in for Fin Fang Foom.
It is a nice looking figure, but i do not have space for it and i do not really know where i can display it. Transformers Titan class, LOTR, Marvel X-Men and MCU and Star Wars Vintage collection items are already taking up so much space. I also have Jurassic Park stuff, but i already need to get rid of most of those in favour of Mattel's Hammond Collection.
I can't see anyway this is going to make it to the UK so it's not really an option. I'm not even sure, unless you're landed gentry, that it would fit in a British house! Fantastic item though if you're a dedicated Legions collector. I can't think it's going to be less than Eternia so at least 550 +tax & shipping (and a couple of years wait).
Its not the size its the price that has me worried since i really want it being a collector of dragons .I also dont like it will be exclusive to their website because i dont pay for stuff 2 years before i get it and im thinking it will be that long before anyone gets it.
I agree about the time to get it, I’m still waiting for that bear. They did say in that interview that they are already working on the figure with the factory, so that should cut some time out of the equation. They did say the more they sell, the more goodies would be included.

@@VernRants i ordered the bear too . Well maybe they will surprise me with the cost but i doubt it .
I don't think this will be as long of a wait. They had two prototypes at the show and a engineering model. So, the molds are done! They are still figuring out how much of will be rotocast vs injection molded. But, it will not be two years based off the convos I had with the studio members.
I'm guessing 600$ or 700$ because it's way more niche than marvel or gijoe it's seem to me that they trying to beat marvel to the fin fang foom punch by releasing a green dragon. I saw a fan make a mock haslab fin fan foom haslab with a more standard dragon head as a extra it seemed to me a great idea if they ever did one.
@VernRants thanks for responding i want this dragon if I get i might be forced to get Tiamat. Which is one of my favorite designs for a dragon. I wish Tiamat had more points of articulation if it had a bunch on its various necks and like another 20 in its body and not more than 400$ i would get it.

i figure that for sure if your in on the legions, then a dragon is a must! That would be a great place to display it..
I may need to hang it from the ceiling in a flying pose. I do not have space for this beauty, but...maybe I have a solution.
@@dr.mortose163 l think the top of a shelf system looking down could be my option

🤣🤔 probably have to choose that dragon or a house..

@@DMSL2007 yes space is a defiantly becoming a problem, these 1/12 vehicles are taking up a lot of room here and I may need to part with a few.
It would be sick to have swooping down hanging from the ceiling
It really would!!
unless you only have an 8’ ceiling
Hanging it from the ceiling would be a waste of the articulation they have provided but hey its not my money .
I can see having a hanging method to store (display)
I have also measured lol. Length and also calculated finances 😂
I’ve actually moved a few things around to see what I’d do, and it’s not even for sale yet..

So many potential barriers! Someone suggested a new house🤣
if the price is not too crazy then I will make room.

Nah. I like my Classified vehicles more. It’s awesome. $500+ easy.
