This is my first video of yours and it was great. SNAP often releases characters I've never heard of and this series is perfect for me. Namora seems super cool.
I still can't believe they only released 2 bubblegum TC variants for X-Men '97. It feels like they left so much potential buzz and interest and money on the table. If they'd done full set of the characters from the show in a variant that looks like the old cards, I would have been playing (and probably spending) a lot more to get them.
She combos pretty well with one of her fellow spotlight cards, Skaar. She can turn two 5 powers into 10 powers, making Skaar cheaper. You could combo her with someone cheap like Martyr or Ebony Maw, join an existing 10 cost in the third lane and get a free Skaar on turn 6. And because she's on reveal and not ongoing, those +5s will stay around.
Hey, I owned the comic where (blue) Namora first appeared! I didn't collect or really read comics, I just ended up with a bunch somehow, and this was one of them. I'll let you figure out why this specific comic would stick in the mind of a young boy enough that I still remember it years later
I had such a crush on her and was gutted she didn't last so long. Altho I guess she got a decent stretch comparatively but it was Bedard who didn't realy do it for me unfortunately.
I'm still waiting for a variant for Cull Obsidian since that was the one card that season I didn't get the spotlight variant for..... like they work with these artists, yet you can't ask them to maybe prioritize the new cards a bit more? Or that some of the spotlight variants are just so bad compared with others, Luchador Blob vs Hellfire Gala Blob is a prime and recent example.
I hope Xorn gets a Marvel Snap card so I can also get the accompanying Nando Cut I'm about to read Morrison's run, but I sense it becomes much more confusing in later stories
The reason I think they say she’s the daughter is because in that intro page from the comics she says she’s the daughter of Atlantis and I bet you they just went o ok she’s namors daughter nuff said instead of looking up her character
Hey Nando I just wanted to ask you a question. What do you think if they make Miles Teller the Maker in the MCU? I feel like he has the acting ability and his universe seemed the most beak and similar to the Ultimates Universe version of the F4. It would be so amazing to have him in the MCU, and I know that Michael B Jordan played Johnny Storm in those movies but that could be written off as multiverse nonsense. Once again, I'm sorry to bother you. I couldn't find any means of contacting you and I was really curious what kinda pitch you could make with this because I feel as if maybe Pedro Pascal should be a Reed Richards that we can look up to rather than a villain. Namor sucks, but Namora's ability is WAY stronger than his lol. She's almost definitely going to be best in a deck that doesn't run any other Atlanteans
