I own the same compressor as a backup to my Yong Heng, and just to have a maintenance free model, too that needs no water cooling. It's as easy as it gets. It's slower than the Yong Heng, but beats a hand pump 100% of the time. If you can fill your tire at the gas station, then you can use this compressor.
Just to confuse newbies they call the fitting on the rifle a Foster fitting. Had me running around trying to find out what a Foster fitting was. It's also known as an 8mm male universal fitting. Just to make things even more confusing there are fittings with a BPSS thread =British. Stick with 8mm universal NPT threads and NPT fittings if you know what's good for you. I'm now an expert on fittings and didn't want to be. Don't put sieve in direct contact with an aluminum filter housing its corrosive.
Yeah super little video, clear and concise. Obviously you just watch the gun gauge, and off the compressor, no auto off system, but thats ok for that price point. I wondered about the compressor gauge not being in PSI, I guess you can change it, but it would be good if they shipped with what most people are used to. In practice, I guess it doesn't matter, as you're calibrating by watching the PCP built in gauge anyway. Thanks for making the instructional video, well done.
Just got mine. It works. That’s all I ask. Instructions may as well not have been included. Do you know of a video or app that explains maintenance? Thanks
Unfortunately, I don’t. I just know that you need to remove the big black bolt from the front and apply a little bit of grease to the mechanics behind it after every fifty hours of use.
Great video, I have always shied away from these rifles because of refilling the reservoir's, I have a portable poser bank that would be perfect for range or field use.
Grest video, will this work for the Gamo arrow? It seems like the port on the Arrow is underneath the gun so I'm wondering would it be any issues with the connection? Or is it the right size connections?
hi im researching this pump, can anyone tell me how long youve had yours? running well? ....... is maintenance easy? whats involved? and did you get the extended warranty also how much? any info is appreciated thanks in advance.
I’ve just had mine for about three and a half months, but it works great. I did buy the extended warranty, which I think was about $40. My father-in-law bought one shortly after I did and his has been great too. Also, I love that it’s nowhere near as loud as I thought it would be.
from the comments on amazon, these things run great.. until they don;t. so please let us know in the future when it stops running. maybe clock up the total running time...
I'd live to get into PCP air rifles but the price for a compressor makes me just stay with break action or 22LRs guns. It's kinda like paying for 2 guns but only getting one.
That’s an extremely valid point! The start-up cost of shooting PCP’s is tough to swallow. I have found though that the shooting experience makes the cost worthwhile, especially since I just need to buy one compressor or tank and can then power multiple PCP guns. Thanks for watching!
My motor definitely gets hot and starts slowing down so I give it a rest every few minutes and it sounds fresh again. No way it would fill a 480 cc bottle on a Fox gun without taking breaks. I took the shroud off and motor is too hot to touch for more than a couple seconds. About 155 degrees. Anyone have a tech support number for this company??? Thanks
It has a couple and also comes with an optional third filter to add to the hose. I don’t use the third one because the hose won’t connect to some of my guns with it.
Every single power supply I've seen for this pump is esthetically different looking. Blue, silver, vent holes/no vent holes...😅 mine looks stainless steel. Oh China, you slay me.😂
Outstanding instructional video on the use of the pump. The manufacturer should include this with the pump.

Thanks!

Best & easiest instructional video I seen so far... thanx
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
Awesome I didn't know you have an airgun channel. Love your blackpowder channel.
Thanks!
Well done video. You gotta love the Mrod.
I love portable air compressors for filling bike or car tires.
This compressor goes to 4500 psi, you would not want to fill either with it.
Mine arrived today, thanks for the tutorial, its really appreciated. God bless

@@LegacyAirguns kind of you to respond. Thank you!!
Looks really nice I wish they had integrated the power supply to the compressor unit but I guess it's fine.
Awesome video!
Thanks for watching!
Great video, I have always shied away from these rifles because of refilling the reservoir's,

Excellent video, thanks a lot.
I bought one. It is amazing.
I find your videos very pleasing.
Love it - far more field friendly than my other water cooled AC powered Chinese compressor

Great tutorial, thank you!
10 months later... What is the verdict? How is this pump still running, any issues ?
Still running great!
Great video and excellent instruction - thank you!
Great video what is the cost of the compressor? It could also be used for cars and other needs with additional adapters
It was about $370 and then I added a 4-year protection plan. Here’s the link to where I bought it: amzn.to/3J47fAt
Thanks for watching!
Where is that unit made? Good video!
China, I believe.
New subscriber!
Have several break barrels but after shooting my friends PCP,
Just gotta have one. No rabbits in So. Utah, any up there?
I see rabbits around, but I haven’t seen them in big numbers this year. They seem to come in waves.
Thanks for watching!

@@LegacyAirguns thank you for your response ....im thinking of ordering one today
What do they cost?
It’s currently $369.99 on Amazon, which is where I bought it. Here’s the link: amzn.to/3ym7UeP

Does your pump shake when it's on? Trying to figure this thing out!
Yeah, it shakes a bit. It’s still working great though.
Thanks for watching!

No filters ?😅

1year update?
That’s a good video suggestion. The compressor still works great!
Can you not just use a tire compressor?
No, you need a compressor that can pump to 4,500 PSI.
❤️❤️
The main problem is too noisy
