I dont know even why its like that, when i was a kid I prefered vegetable and even now. But maybe its depend what you get to eat when you was young. My parents rarely cook meat and when they cook it they was also a bunch of vegetable to eat.

That it’s okay for girls at thirteen to care about calories? I think kids up to late high school should just eat what they want as long as they’re getting their nutrients and get lots of exercise

I noticed that. One kid is always more dominant and they say their negative opinion first. Then the other kid just agrees and doesn't even taste the thing. I wonder if you could use this phenomenon- get a kid with more adventurous taste to influence a shyer kid to try more things and like more things? Kids will do things just to fir in so maybe a less adventurous eater would try more things if their friends were eating them and liking them.

Episodes like these are really telling of what they eat at home lol like my kid's palate will be diverse. I'm not about to raise a vegetable hater lmao
Kids are instinctively picky eaters. It's probably nature's way of keeping them from poisoning themselves eating random berries or mushrooms, lol. And they learn what is "safe" to eat or "unsafe" pretty early in life, and some of their aversions get locked in. So the key is exposing them to diverse foods early. Like really early. Don't make the mistake of feeding your kids bananas and dinosaur nuggets for the first 3 or 4 years, and then trying to get them to eat sushi, lol. It's often too late by then!

It's not hard to learn how to use chopsticks, I knew how to use them when I was 5, was I good? No, but it didn't take long for me to learn, it just takes practice :) Whenever I get the chance I grab two pencils or actual chopsticks and practice

@@HesHonse6 I had a few experiences with Mexican food but food wise I'm more fluent in Italian Spanish French a bit of Japanese Chinese Turkish and Netherlands cuisine
