They failed to manage their expectations. If it looks like a pancake, it must taste like a pancake, even if somebody tells you that you're taste-testing breads, right? Their own preconceptions betrayed them. They probably aren't terribly familiar with the taste of molasses used straight out of the bottle as a syrup topping, either. It's stronger than alternatives like honey or maple syrup.

Especially after all the counting. ha ha
All of you are fool she is very smart she just misunderstood 1400's as a days, so she calculate that 4 years has 1460 days that is one smart girl
The main thing I took from this video is how crucial it should be for adults to serve their children a more broad variety of foods ( when possible) so that they learn more about the world around them & don't fear trying a little bit of something new to them. The way American culture goes about feeding children in particular is sometimes painfully myopic.
Not American, but I kind of suffered from this. It’s far better to start giving them a broad variety of foods when they’re little because it’s hard to break those habits as you’re older.
@@daniman0114 I also grew up eating a very limited range of foods, til about 6th or 7th grade when we moved to a more urban & multicultural environment. There were some bumps in the road, but it did help me to see that when I became a mother that it was a good idea to expose our kids to new & different foods.
The thing is, I'm pretty certain these are epicurious staff kids so their parents constantly work with food. I mean, many of the foods they put in these videos I have never had. Kids are just more honest about what makes is weird or different about food.
K
you realize all parts of the world have cultures which typically means they tend to eat the same types of food. if u truly think it's just an american thing u are extremely deluded
