And that’s how I found out about gay people.
(P.S. Ten years later, I came out as bi to my parents, and I’m so happy I did.)

I am a straight great-grandmother and I have to say that I so admire you,Ellen. It is hard enough to be a human in this emotional climate but to be a part of a community that has the struggles of the LGBT community and to have to navigate the prejudice and vitriol that some people express against that community and to be so outspoken with such grace is absolutely amazing!. I mentioned my sexuality because i am not a member of said community and I feel that there should only be one community- a human community!
