I don’t see how someone could take a oath and lie on the stand like that !!! Her story doesn’t match up with his!!! It makes me sick to of listened to all of that and see how she was trying to show that she does have feelings ??? Drugs and alcohol are personality changes is the thing. I have dated alcoholics they don’t remember what they say when they are drunk. The next day he thought 💭 I was being mean to him !!! Because he didn’t remember what he said. Same thing with a guy that does drugs that he was mean and said mean things. The guys I dated acted the same way. They were incredible mean !!! They all couldn’t remember how mean they treated me so I had to walk away. I couldn’t allow them to treat me like that !!! And she's so vague and doesn't even remember where she was hit on a specific day that she obviously told her lawyer that he physically abused her. I wonder if her lawyer is frustrated. Wouldn't a person remember where they were hit if they remember a particular day that they WERE hit?
I think she liked being with JD, I think she loved being on his arm, loved the lifestyle, and when her particular brand of bullying didnt work, and he cut her off and refused to even look at her again. I think the fact she no longer had any hold on him, and she couldnt get her way, when she realized he wanted nothing to do with her ever again. I think thats when she started all this bullshit. She couldnt bear the fact he was no longer hers to manipulate and live off, the only way she could stay in his life was to start with the abuse claims. Thinking she would get away with it. Well done JD. You have been really brave to air all this terrible and debilitating stuff about your personal life. In order to make sure she had to stop and leave you alone. Its so sad it had to go this far. I wish there were more men who would stand up like you did to put a stop to this manipulative bully of a woman. Maybe now more men will come forwards and talk about the abuse they suffer at the hands of a domestically abusive woman! You should be very proud ands hold your head high. She should be punished.
Yep narcissists hate losing control of someone once they do. It sends them into a tailspin. You can imagine how bad of a narcissist AH is. You know her beauty has allowed her to get away with alot for a very long time. I credit Johnny Depp for giving me the strength for me to leave my narcissist. Real tears don’t transmit very readily on screen on some formats-that’s often why they’ll use fake ones (or menthol to redden the eyes) even if real tears exist. This happened to me during an acting gig.

Really weird how she's constantly looking at the jury, even when not talking-like when her lawyers approach the bench. And almost everyone she wipes her nose she turns toward them, as well.

She is scanning the courtroom to see who is paying attention to her and her actions so she can do a "bump" on the stand. So obvious. when you blow your nose you blow out not sniff in. She also looks in her lap quite often before and after.
The puppy dog eyes and sighs she gives the jury every time she looks over there… It's interesting to me, Idk if I saw Depp look at them once-he could probably give a single smile to them get a one up on the case, but I think he is really an honest person and then wants to know he won fairly. I DK if that's the case or if he's just scared of what they think bc of what the media has thought for so long or if there's strategy there, regardless she is trying really hard and it's so obvious. It's actually frustrating annoying and insulting.. at least that's how I feel when I see her doing it. Almost like she just knows that her looks and fame (thx to Johnny) usually get her a lot of what she wants. I think this is the first couple days before she realized how much people didn't believe her and she has so much confidence when she gets out before closing I don't think she looks at them as much
Her testimony and this dramatic performance is the cringiest thing I’ve seen in ages.
Dear God the facial expressions and drama of it all is so cringe. "Mountains" of evidence amounted to tons of audio of them both addressing her abuse, not one audio of either of them addressing the alleged abuse towards her, just her nagging him for trying to escape the violence. Embarrassing watching this.

Has anyone heard the audio between them where she says that she could act like she's emotional at any time and then she starts crying.. And then she starts to laugh about it.. lol..
While it is true that victims of DV can behave/react different from each other and while it is also true that being a partner of someone who is struggling with addiction can be as she described, one must keep in mind that she has herself had issues with drink/drug issues and as a spokesperson for DV she's heard many stories and been around many survivors of these issues. For someone with so many photographs and recordings and not a single person including police officers, everyone she auditioned for during their time together, her own attorneys even her best friend and sister who lived in her apartment, never physically witnessed any of what she has stated. Zero injuries. It has been proven that her team have already lied during this trial but since the jury cannot read about the case they will not know just how much has already been exposed such as the make-up brand her team claimed she used to cover up all these scars, and the actual make-up brand spokesperson has publicly stated, their brand had not even been released. There is also AH former aide who has spoken to The Guardian about hearing AH use the aides story of abuse as AH own. There's the neighbour who has publicly stated AH sneaking in James Franco and Elon Musk into JD apartment while still married to JD. AH claims to be terrified of the man who was her husband at the time, but the men her so called jealous husband does not want her to be friends with she takes them to HIS home?? There's video footage of this. All these people have gone public not only with their information but also their identities, while a defamation law suit is happening. Why would they do that knowing they could get hit with a case? Because they are telling the truth. There's also the time AH was asked about her breakup with Elon and she expressed publicly that she still loved him, but it shows in court documents she had no feelings for him whatsoever. This is evidence supplied to the court by her own team. Another lie. AH claims when JD is on his benders he is violent. Yet produces photos to the court of him after his so called binges passed tf out. According to her evidence he beat her consistently but her own photographic evidence shows him forever sleeping and clearly staged scenes of drug paraphernalia and his so called blackouts which easily could be photos of him passed out after a long shoot. Historically he is known for over working and taking home his work, which has caused previous relationships to breakdown. Previous partners have spoken about this before AH was ever heard of. All eye witness accounts admit he has used drugs/alcohol but every single one has under oath said he has an extremely high tolerance, which makes sense considering the length of time he has been using and the need to use his faculties on movie sets, productions, arranging of his staff, business meetings, travel, time with his family and his social life. One thing that never changes in these situations is the perpetrator. They will have you believe they are the victim because they show you the part where there victim finally reacts to them. Like all AH recordings of JD. It makes him sound just as toxic but eye witnesses have testified, she was the instigator, she was physically, verbally, psychologically abusive. She is not acting on the stand, people like her do not know how to act, how to have human emotions, they look around to see how they should act and mimic the facial expressions of others. She chose a time when her husband had lost his mother, had allegedly fallen off the wagon and knew she would get some good footage but it's just disgusting. She is a narcissist and a sociopath. A despicable excuse for a human.

The longer this trial goes on and the more details of this relationship come to light, the more I am disgusted with them both. The damage is done both till suffer career and reputation loss. She is violent and crazy but the recordings we hear of how johnny speaks to and about her are disturbing. He is no gentleman.

He may not have hit her but this is definitely verbal and mental abuse...I was surprised by this because he seems so calm and charming but he is something else behind the scenes.
Its clear that their relationship was extremely toxic and unfortunately the addiction and drug abuse on both parties elevated that. I don’t believe that any of them is innocent or was perfect in the relationship, they were both obviously verbally, emotionally and physically abusive towards each another and I wish them healing.

It happens all the time, especially when drugs are involved. Sweet child of mone by Axl rose- he beat the living daylights out of that woman -toxic back and forths. I had but no apology for the physical stuff such throwing my dinner on me, putting a cigarette in my mouth, breaking my laptop, phone. So the apology was there he just didn’t incriminate himself in texts. And I only started to record stuff at a later date so I had zero evidence I could prove to anyone for much of it as in the beginning you don’t think to record it.

Real Dv survivor here. I always apologize and took the blame for every fight just so we could move on. If I did not take the blame and apologize it would be days of torture but if I went to him and apologize I would just have to listen to him for an hour about what I was lacking as a person and why everything was my fault and then we could move on until the next fight. Well there are sooooo many, but the be all and end all giveaway of her lies was her stating the the TRIAL is the most "difficult and painful" thing she has ever gone through. Former Target of DV here as well (I don't know why but I don't like the "Survivor" or "Victim" labels). No .... sweety ... if you had actually been a victim of DV .... THE DV IS THE HARDEST AND MOST PAINFUL thing you have ever been through. That is not to say that testifying about it is not hard or painful.
Yea ... one of the few times he actually went hands on. We were in an argument. I don't even remember what about, because all I was thinking was "there is just never a resolution .... to anything. Unless of course you completely agree with him all the time, do exactly what he says all the time, and "be perfect", which isn't possible because that isn't actually what he wants, he wants to fight and will always have some excuse. So I was soooo pissed off. We got in the car and I did like one of those CIA being chased reverse and spin arounds. He put his forearm across my neck and choked me.
Just because I feel like putting this here ..... He just died after spending 10 years with his mistress and refusing me a divorce because he didn't want to pay child support. Her sorry @ss supported him for 10 years because he wouldn't work. Sigh wasted 10 years of her life with him. I realize he lied to her but if a bastard says "I've filed for divorce" you march your happy @ss to the computer and find out, hell you should check that sh!t regardless. I knew what she was in for so .. I didn't feel the need for revenge. I too am a survivor, I learned very quickly to always be first to apologize and as frightened as I was, would ALWAYS tell him that I understand how HE felt just so I could move on and pray that I stayed safe for another day.
I can definitely relate to you. That's exactly what I did. Then my husband would play victim to our two sons and gaslight me and I thought I was a horrible mom ,wife,sister,daughter etc bc of how bad he degraded me. It is so hard to go through bc by the time you figure out that you are not a horrible person we have been through yrs of it. So it takes a long time to heal.

What is experienced here is 15 years of emotional abuse from Amber to which he had long reached his breaking point. It was toxic yeah, but she was the narsassist that pushes the behavior to "come out" of people. I have an ex of 10 years who was a complete malignant narsassist and my mother was a covert narcissist as well. Jhonny is only guilty of yelling being intoxicated. Just because he's reached a breaking point means nothing. It makes me angry because I'm a loving caring very emotionally invested person and I've reached my own breaking points with narsassistic behavior. They do it on purpose. Bring you to the point of breaking then act like a victim when people are looking .

I will not judge. Because it is not my place to judge. These two abused each other. Lots of dynamics going on here that few can assess and understand personally and/or professionally, for if that was the case, none of you would be judging either one of them. It is mob mentality.
I hope after this trial these two can move on and heal.
Very well said. I am very much reminded of the one toxic relationship in my life. Both of us were victim and perpetrator at the same time. The only problem here is that Amber claims to be the victim and only the victim of JDs abuse, that's why she wrote that op-ed. To me it feels like she hasn't fully understood the dynamics of their relationship and that she carries just as much responsibility as he does.
But Johnny didn't abuse her physically! That is the point of the trial, and also she has been making up things oved the years!

I'm absolutely on Johnny's side. It's hard to believe he did all these awful physical things to Amber when he's been in several long-term relationships and has never been accused or in trouble for any physically or sexual violence. The jury has to really take that into consideration(or they're insane) at times she is believable, the majority of the time not. I can tell an abuse victim as I am one and know many.
AH needs to be very careful she might just slip up and tell the truth - or not

If I may add too that list. You don't have late night (or day light), male visitors to your home, while your abusive, jealous husband, is out of the country working. You avoid male or female encounters, in private situations, that you know, will lead to misinterpretation and most likely lead to spousal abuse.

I also have symphaty for anyone in addiction and anyone that has to live with someone in their addiction. It's a cruel and destructive disease. I believe her about how he lied about his medication. I did the same thing several times before I got clean neraly 5 years ago. I just spent the last over two years dealing with my daughters father after his relapse and it was hell! Maybe his addictions drove her to insanity and abuse(not okay whatsoever and not an excuse to act this way or abuse an addict physically or mentally/emotionally) it can do that to people! My mom became very verbally and physically abusive towards me because of the hell and stress I put her through during my addiction years. It's really very sad and so toxic.

But if she hated it that much, that she got to the point of physical/mental/sentinel/verbal abuse, why didn't she leave? If you are that disgusted by someone, why would you stay? He definitely is an addict, he admits that. He definitely said horrible things to her. But he could have been driven to that due to her treatment of him. I mean, we've heard ample recordings of her going off on him and admitting hitting him. All these times she claims he beat the crap out of her, yet they have no recordings of that to play? She was recording him all the dang time. How would she not manage to get a recording of that, at least once, if it were happening as often as she'd have us believe?

And of course enjoyed the attention, especially the never ending money. Like she said alot of what he provided and did for her she could have never dreamt of or afforded.

I have great compassion and empathy for true survivors of DV.
She however, is NOT a victim or a survivor. She is a monster hell bent on ruining this guys life.
If she was going to go to such lengths to lie and fabricate such stories she should have made them at least fit his character just a little if she wanted to be more believable.
According to her, we should believe that he just backhands her whenever the mood strikes, or whips something her way, or kicks, slaps, punches, pushes, chokes, belittles,.suddenly, unexpectedly, randomly, an frequently.. ..daily even, by the sounds of it...really Amber??!!

@@christiangwenner6384 No! It isn't! My partner had banged cabinets and then went out in the field to throw things when something went horribly wrong with business before and the threshold was met. But has NEVER, EVER laid a hand on me nor would EVER be the disciplinarian with the children, to the point where it would get frustrating! Some ppl CANNOT and DO NOT have it IN them to take part in any kind of physicality that would hurt someone. But at their breaking point throw things where nobody else around. When he 'rearranged' her closet, she wasn't in the penthouse and he went upstairs by himself to do it, according to the security guard. That resonated with me, that is what he does at his worst, after she had already thrown a Red Bull on his back, punched him👊🏼 AND spit at him. That was the extent of his physical reaction. Probably because he bought her most of those clothes and gave up those rooms for her closet and the assistant will organize it all for her again anyway. Or because he was just pissed off. But that is the extent of his revenge and physical reaction. It makes so much sense why she mocks him in that recording we heard after admitting to hitting him and being the one who gets physical saying "You do THE RIGHT THING and walk away, your so ADMIRABLE" Sounds like she's frustrated that he doesn't get down to that level with her, because she's unable to not get physical. And from reading the texts seems for him he feels the worst about himself when he gives into angry, awful insults and being 'less than' by resorting to being petty and messing up her closet. Their barometers are completely different about what awful behavior is. He is also recorded repeatedly begging her to stop getting physical. I think he's definitely a musician-type that doesn't have it in them to get physical, they use words when they feel the need to injure and I get the sense he hates himself for even going that low. That's why he's apologizing to her. They are completely different in the way they express anger. But this relationship was definitely unsustainable. He knew that. She didn't seem to understand.
