I have 2 of these, and have been using them about a year. They have worked perfectly when we go out of town. I was super nervous when picking a feeder because I’ve read terrible stories about feeder failures, but these are just fantastic! Glad to see you like them too.
I followed the instructions and left it for a day to practice before we go away..came back and half the feeder was empty and water completely ruined. Hopefully your instructions will be much better!
Thanks for your very helpful video! This is an awesome device! Bought it due to a 2 weeks trip, I made sure I learned its functionality before trusting it. I took my chances and used flakes, no moisture or sticky food, it keeps the flakes fresh, I haven't recharged batteries since October 15th and now has 2 batteries mark left, I want to see how much more it lasts. I'm very happy with this device.
Prefect for when I go on holiday! I can could go on a 2 week holiday and relax. I am also thinking of getting an auto switch in and off plug for the tank light too.
Pretty cool feeder. I agree with the rubber cover for the charging port. They dropped the ball on that detail. But definitely would buy it based on the other features. Thanks. 👍
I appreciate your video you made my life soooo much brighter, I did not understand the instructions and with your video I got it done ❤❤❤❤❤ thank you for your time and dedication , god bless you
Got myself one, it's a great little feeder, I'm quite impressed. I much prefer the individual compartments. You can accurately measure out each feeding. I used to have one of those rotating drum feeders in the past. They are a right pain in the bum lol 🤣 It is very hard to get an accurate measured dose from the drum, as the entire contents are turning around. This feeder is a winner!! ...😀👍🏻
I have the older battery operated Fishmate F14. This seems somewhat of an updated copy. It's around 25 Sterling these days. You can use flake and or granules. There is also a space to attach an airline. This is optional but I always us it (attached to a very small air pump) as it solves any condensation issues. I've had it for years and it has never failed. I only use it when I'm away for more than a couple of days though.
@@EverydayAquarist Nice! How did it work out with the flake food? The Fishmate F14 is a similar design. Over time, it can get a little messy with flake food, but I have never had the Fishmate fail because of the mess.
"Now that I'm a spoon owner" hahaha... I was thinking the whole time it wouldn't work because moisture always gets up inside them they the seem to have solved that with the clever motorised portal. Pretty neat.
I was already all excited until you mentioned that there is an opening under each compartment 😂 So I can't use it with food that is almost powder or extremely very small pellets either ☹ Thanks once again for another excellent review! 👍 - Ramón 🇲🇽
Hi, just seen your video review and it’s very good. Was wondering if this would be ok to use on aquariums with sliding glass covers. Also would it take smaller size pellets Thanks Mark
does the unit keep time at all times even when the power button is off. 'then when you turn it on the timer works. What im asking is the power button is it to turn it on and then you need to program it.or does the program stay in the feeder and the power button just turn on so the program work.Im going on vacation for 18 days i have a feeder already its for 7 days. i want this one for the next 7 days but i want my daughter just to put it on the tand and press the power button and it will work

Nice, I've put flake in it anyway to see what happens

Yeah it's pretty cool👍
Although it's not recommended, I have tested this feeder with flakes. And it worked just fine, not a lot of smearing food around.

It's a pretty tight fit but yeah I think powdery or flakes will go under. Haven't tested it though. Thank you for watching
@@EverydayAquarist Thank you! 😊
So just use the barrel style pet bank feeder instead
@@alexpellman8637 I think there will be no other option.
I used it for my Betta with tiny pellets and it works perfect 👍
Nice little feeder 👍
Thanks for watching
I was looking also something that can mix with water before drop
So is the idea to basically insert the exact amount you want to feed per feeding in one compartment ?

Thank you so much! My neighbor moved and I have no one to feed my fish.

Hi Can you feed once a day for 10 days?

Quelq'un de France peut il m'expliquer s'il vous plaît ?merci d'avance
If you mount it sideways, the food may not fall out. :)
